Hey fellow CCiers,

I read a verse from Psalms 68 which says,

God settles the solitary into a family,... (Pslams 68:7a),

and wanted to share and remind all of you, especially myself, that God is the one who settles my (and your) single status.

God bless.

So does that mean I don't have the option of staying single for the rest of my life on earth?

I don't think that it has to mean a marriage. It could refer to being part of the "family" of Christ, how we all become brothers and sisters through Him. Or how God will be a Father to the Fatherless. :)

I have come to that same realization myself. It would be nice though if He could settle the status in my favor but who am I to question God?

This thread is old, but it needs another Christian.
