To interpret God we must look to Jesus.
Except in his own home town of Nazareth, Jesus healed everyone who needed healed and came to him for healing.
The question is not if healing is God's will because it it is his will that all be healed, because if we look at Jesus we see that all were healed, except those in his home town. The question should be what is God's will and purpose for you as you walk through sickness or disease.
My own Father and mother battled serious disease issues. My Mother had stage 4 liver cancer for 4 years, before she was promoted to glory this past May, she never needed chemo, she still took certain medications, she was not sickly and was able to move around , drive to church, taught children church and did everything God directed her to do, you could not tell any outward signs she lived with stage 4 liver cancer and that her liver had actually shut down. This included mission trips to orphanages around the world to bring the Gospel to children and the workers in those orphanages. SHe was also used by the Holy Spirit in the gifts of healing children and miracles for children for the 4 years she had her own disease. He pastors and church family and friends knew all about her disease. Yet God was getting glory through her disease. Mom confessed the word over herself and claimed her own healing every day. She never doubted God was healing her.
In early April of this year, the disease process ravaged her and we had to admit her to the hospital. By early May my brother and I had peace knowing God was going to promote her, more importantly Mom did to.
Mom had been completely unresponsive for about 5 days and her body was not eating and shutting down and the decision was made to transfer to a hospice. 2 days before God promoted her, it was discovered she had been walking around one night, in perfect health and talking and sharing Jesus and leading people to Jesus who were there for their own dying family members.
12 people came to Jesus that early morning, including 3 doctors and 3 nurses. When Mom went back to her room, she become unresponsive until a few minutes before her promotion and we gave her a send off.
God does not work in mysterious ways, he works his perfect will through the earth, through imperfect humans, who obey his voice.
