Will there be different seats and/or positions in heaven, different levels of reward, or will we all be alike position-wise?

Not in heaven but in the Kingdom when established on earth...

Luk 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
Luk 19:16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
Luk 19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
Luk 19:18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
Luk 19:19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

1Co 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Mat 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

What did Jesus mean when he said to lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven where the thief does not break through to steal nor will moth and rust eat it up?

He simply meant this...

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The rewards, laid up in heaven, are brought back with Him when He returns so that He can give to every man according to his works.

Where is the Father's house with many dwelling places.........?

Possibly, but over a period of time everyone can get a piece of the pie. In the parable of the talents the three men were rewarded according to how well they invested their master's money. One got to rule over 10 cities, another 5 cities, and one did not to very well. We are instructed to store up treasure in heaven. It does appear there will be different levels of responsibility and type of reward.

Well we will only know when we get there. Yes we proberbly will have different status, but so what, without sin we will not be jealous or angry, just happy with what we have.

Of course "Heaven" is simply eternal life on the new earth.

What a limited frame of reference we have. There is another beautiful dimension that has glories we can't even imagine.

Whatever our position or reward will be, I think it is far beyond what we could try to understand in this life.

Whatever...
but you aren't get a piece of MY pie.

The bible doesn't say anything about politeness and sharing AFTER you get to heaven.

I don't care. Only that I'm there is the goal that I desire. I leave the status and positioning up to the Almighty God. It will be right whatever the outcome. Sounds like this scenario..............

Matthew 20:20-23
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Mt 5:18-19
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
KJV

Please believe that I'M NOT TURNING LEGALIST! I cited these verses because they support the notions of rank in heaven.

Matthew 5:19
"Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others
to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

I like what David said here:

Psalms 84:10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Matthew 11:11
Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Encouraging. :)

What if one does not wish to enter into the spirit realm of the Almighty God, where would that leave one?, where would one dwell?

When I sing songs about Heaven...I skip the streets of gold.
I'm a good ol girl at heart...lol I asked God for perhaps a lil patch of trees somewhere, if He would grant me that.
The streets of gold can be for higher folks than me...and the folks that suffer more in life with pain and sorrows
They deserve the streets of gold! I have no problem or jealously with a brother or sister having a better place in Heaven than I will.
