Yet, why would you ask that?
dont take it personally, a lot of ppl are just like that. Part of being a Christian is to not let words affect us but that is easier said than done huh lol. I find that when ppl speak out of hate anger or just plain rudeness it thwarts their attempts to get to you if you respond out of 4753278844a7533469021ml.gif

The Sardis church was a very active, dynamic church. Can we fast forward to today? Making an impact in its community. But what sort of impact?
They had a polished, professional music team with a band. State of the art sound system and video screens. A polished, professional, awesome, dynamic, earth moving 'pastor'! He could make them jump and shout in their seats.

They had a youth group leader that was making an impact with his charisma and talent. The teens were dazzled by his awesomeness and his rock star status. His high tech performance!
Programs? Oh don't you know it. Programs, programs and more programs! For a fee!
Basket ball teams, baseball teams,etc.,etc.
Worship dance team. Dinners and auctions.

Only one problem. They were dead! Deader than dirt!
Their hearts were still clinging to the world! Sin and compromise was the norm.
The ungodly felt real comfortable in this 'church'! It was a fun and exciting 'church'!
But spiritually dead!
Heres what's scary. Jesus said 'wake up', lest He erase their names from the book of life!

I've been in a few big churches. Not one ounce of the Holy Spirit could I detect. I felt other spirits though. I had to run to get out of the building.

Should we be doing some soul searching about now? I'm just saying.
Hallelujah! Real TRUTH, preaching and teaching. Churches today are like country club religion dead dead dead! No HOLY SPIRIT raining down among the people. I went to one church had a disco ball , bright lights, loud secular christian music, and Holy Spirit reveal to me this was witchcraft(satanic forces) taking place. I ran out there in the name of JESUS!! Nothing new under the sun!! Worshiping Baal, Mammon, New Age, and etc......

What makes you think anyone who would tamper with, or who would misrepresent, the word of God was saved in the first place?
AQueen chuckles!! I give you ten points for trying to clean that up!!! He got you on that one just admit it!! Rev 22:19

[h=1]Revelation 22 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)[/h]19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this prophetic book, God will take away his share of the tree of life and the holy city, written in this book.

I went to a youth group just to see what's going on. They were rocking to music that sounded satanic. It was from an R rated movie.

A Halloween party in Pentecostal church complete with a dragon the kids played in. Who is the dragon folks? Hello! Hello!

another youth group where the girls and guys de-panced the awesome youth leader taking pictures of his naked behind. How precious is that? Parents, while you worry about what your kids are exposed to in the Pubic school, worry about what they are doing in that dynamic church youth group they go to!

In an Assemblies of God where we were holding hands singing. This guy started fingering my wife's hand. She got out of there, went to an elder. The elder said, in a smart Alec tone, 'what do you want me to do about it'? Sweet!

In another Holy Spirit filled church where the pastor was talking about how he'd get quick sex with his wife if he'd buy her a latte. Found out they divorced later. Who would have seen that coming? The whole congregation had no problem with this guy. I'm quite sure he is still pastoring. Does dumb sheep come to mind.

Here I hold to none of this c--p. I don't want a salary. I want folks fired up for Christ and holiness and I can't get one person to want to start a NT fellowship. There is no interest. My wife and I sit alone. But that's how it should be. We r n the last hours of history!
My dirty laundry list of ungodly experiences with churchianity goes on and on. I don't think writing it all down here will change the minds of those caught up in the mess.

I dont get it, are saying that almost every church you have gone to has been like this? the reason I say I dont get it is because I have been to many different churches and never once encountered what you are describing but then again I live in Oklahoma so I dint know where you live but trust me keep looking dont give up on church you will find the right one. Have you looked online or did research on the churches before you go there? you must be going to all these churches for a reason and I doubt its to find out whats wrong with them.

Careful...
"Lord, I'm glad my church is not like that other church, we pray and fast 3 times a week, only sing the Psalms, give to missions and never have bake sales...

Luke 18:10-12
10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people: extortionists, unrighteous people, adulterers – or even like this tax collector.
12 I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.’

I get it, a lot of churches are missing the central thing, but need we be pharasaical or be praying for them?

Just a thought, but have you and your wife ever checked your own dirty laundry list?

I do not excuse the things you state here, but I surmise they are a little exaggerated, so you can go on being the puritanical saint and everyone else is wrong.

Not once have you ever answered anyone when they asked you what church should be like and not once have you ever showed me you are spiritually mature enough to even close a service in prayer.

If you rant like you do here in the NT fellowship it is no wonder God is not using you.

You have a heart condition that needs to be checked.

Wasn't directed at you but to those who continually find fault with the churches.

Oh ok. well if you go to churches with the mindset of seeking whats wrong with the church instead of whats good about the only thing you will see is whats wrong with it. I mean no church is perfect there is always something wrong and likely always some sort of corruption but then again its the same with humans

Even if I believed your stories, you actually believe we are all like this, globally?

Just a thought, but have you and your wife ever checked your own dirty laundry list?

His attitude and mannerism has been gently pointed out by many but he despises correction and refuses to recognise. You will know them by their fruit.

haha, that reminds me...Each night my wife and I sit down before our son goes to bed and we read him bible stories, a ten part series that we found from the 50's. We are on revelation at the moment and decided to stop because the guys interpretation was that bad, saying the four horsemen is the state of the church over the past 1500 years! haha, So the church is Death and bringing Hades on earth!
Sorry, your post reminded me of that, I guess some believe the church is like that now lol

Romans 12:3
For by the grace given to me I say to every one of you not to think more highly of yourself than you ought to think, but to think with sober discernment, as God has distributed to each of you a measure of faith.

Sometimes we need a reminder :)
