No two consenting adults have certain rights in private..The law even places limits on that... are you in favor of making prostitution a civil right? Two consenting adults right?

that's what happens when laws change and you don't agree with them. You make the decision to remove yourself from the place where you would have to agree with them.

Sure they have a right to work and eat...like all other citizens. But if they choose to promote their perverted lifestyle then folks who reject that lifestyle have the right to reject that as acceptable. If my rejection of deviant behavior is offensive to those who practice deviant behavior, that's too bad... Im sure lots of people feel bad when they live in sin...I know I did...it was no ones fault but my own.

Well she didn't and the people who elected her didn't want her to...if a unconstitutional and immoral law is in place, you don't surrender to it, you stand against it.

According to some here, the law had not changed, only a decision was made. There had to be a law still crafted by the State Legislature to comply with the Court...that hadn't happened. Remember the Courts do not legislate...AM GOVT. 101

That is a simplistic way of looking at Kim Davis' situation.

She stood on laws and customs with deeper roots and better reasoning than Anthony Kennedy's saccharine love poetry.

Yea ...how horrible to believe and speak what the bible clearly teaches... I must confess Im guilty of believing and speaking the truth :) And that post just showed that you wanted compassion for your child from others...but you laughed and ridiculed this lady because she was arrested for her faith...yes im sure I see your heart..Im sure God sees your heart as well and one day all the laughing will turn to a sudden and terrible fear, but then it will be too late for some of you.

Mitspa, Lis45 said she wanted PRAYER for her gay child. Prayer is NOT compassion. And yes, we should show gay people compassion, because they are lost and we need to try to bring them to God, not ridicule them or tell them they're going to hell. Scaring them to go to Jesus isn't the way to win them to Him. They must WANT to go to him and repent through their own will, not because we put the fear of hell in them. Now, are YOU capable of praying for Lis' child or is that too much to ask of you? We should ALL pray for gay people.

No blue...she demanded that others show compassion in the name of Christ...then she came on this thread and laughed at this lady for being jailed for her faith. I don't play that game. Now as far as how to win souls to Christ..if you don't think fear is biblical? Clearly your missing a large part of the bible...Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom... We are not just called to pray for people, we are called to tell them the truth.
