We live in the time of Judgment right now according to Daniel and Revelation. But why is it taking so long?

The reason is simple, People still have not heard the Gospel of how Jesus was Judged in our place if we accept Him we are not judged.

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

God will not end it until we have been faithful, because to end it now would lose all those who have not heard who might accept had they known.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We need to tell the world that God is going to end sin and sinners and all will be judged and all are guilty and the only escape is to believe in Jesus then we are judged in Him on the cross.

There are three phases of Judgement we are in the first now. as far as everyone hearing the Gospel I think you might be confused. Just go an knock on some doors and you will learn real quick that there are people everywhere who know nothing about Jesus. Just because its available does not mean its known.

It seems to me we get judged as we go along, and sometimes the Lord comes down very hard on us.

The problem with that is the gospel that Paul preached, the death, burial and resurrection has gone out into all the world. So obviously, we're not talking about the same thing.

Romans 16:24-25, "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:"

Colossians 1:5-6, "For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:"

Colossians 1:23, "If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;"

Paul says his gospel has gone out to all nations, in all the world, been preached to every creature under heaven and yet, the end has not come. HHHHHMMMMM, something must be up.

The gospel of the kingdom will go back into effect after the Church Age during the tribulation where the good news of the coming kingdom will be preached to the whole world through the two witnesses and 144,000 elect Jews.

There would have been people groups who would reject the gospel message. Also, those who did receive it, did a poor job on passing it on to the next generation. Remember, that was 2,000 years ago.

The "then known world" would have still been after the Matthew 24 Scripture. In 2,000 years I wouldn't doubt that there would be people in the U.S. who have never heard of a Bible or the gospel message. This country is doing all it can to get God's word out.

gotime.....I'm not sure if this present time in history is called the time of judgement..no more than it would be called the Church age, or the pre-returning, or the End Times, or any other title mankind decides to label. What I find is "TODAY is the Day of Salvation".....so therefore, us CHRISTIANS should be found working if and when HE returns.

The church could still get raptured out because the Holy Spirit can go out to the Jews and the job can be given to angels:

God is at peace, this is the dispensation of grace. This is the greatest time ever, in the history of the world, as far as salvation and judgment is concerned.

It merely means that since the writing of Rom.10:18, Rom.16:26, Col.1:6, and Col.1: 28, the stage had been set for His return.... especially considering the fact that Peter had already told everyone at Pentecost that they were, right then, "in the last days."

Unreached by special revelation - maybe. Unreached by general revelation - not all. Everyone knows there is a God, but many have suppressed that truth. Creation attests to the fact. And if we go back to the tower of Babel, all family groups from Noah's three sons and their wives travelled all over the world after the confusion of languages at the dispersion. With them they took the truth and their own versions of the truth. As to whether these groups knew of the coming Saviour, that's debatable, and probably less likely. But at least, some of Shem's descendants must have believed.
