Funny how Calvinists will boldly wear the label, whereas Arminians usually shrink back from being tagged as such.
Be that as it may, the LORD is looking for blood stained believers.

I was Arminian for over a decade before I ever heard the term. And then I only heard the term because an Arminian pastor taught us how to study the Bible, hubby did, and then read the works on the list of "good Christian books" given in that church, only to discover all those writers were Calvinists, who had plenty to say about Arminians. lol

I think most Arminians are that without knowing they are or why. (Why I give God the credit for saving us despite our beliefs.)

I'm not God so I can't say who's going to heaven and who's not

Too many I's in the word. I'll never remember how to spell it right. (How to judge a belief system: Is it easy to spell? lol)

Thus the problem. One tiny little vowel right smack in the middle of a word that changes the meaning, but not how the word is pronounced.

Wesleyan it is, (at least until someone starts a country named Wesleia.)

hmmmm..... just who did you hear THAT from?? Hmmmmm?????

(people always judging us rednecks.... sheesh...)
She's my cousin. I know her from when we were both teens. Sadly, I haven't kept up with many of my cousins since then, so I don't know if the rest of the family rednecks became believers since. But, hey, we got a lot of rednecks in the family, and no one seems to be able to tell me if I am one or not. Not even Jeff Foxworthy. I only do half his lists. Any such thing as half-redneck?

Well, Luther might have affected a few. And according to some around here, everyone's eternal state depends on King Jimmy. :p

(stir, stir, stirring the pot...)
lol

There's calvinism, arminianism, and king jimmy-ism...

I'm a non-calvinist arminian king-jimmy(but not only)-ist...so I'm probably going to the land down under.

Yup, I've got a snowball's chance in hot molten lava of getting to the promised land...

Oh wait, isn't there tithe-ism too?

Now I'm really in trouble!
