Does no ones heart cry out for these people? If they walked into your church meeting place, what would your reaction be? Horror? Disgust? what? What would you say to them if they said they wanted to know more? would you be able to not see them as others do?

If you were blind and could only feel your way around what they look like to you? would you notice the deformities or would you first notice the scars? If these people have the scars on the outside, then what scars do they posses on the inside? Everyone says "we want revival" well some do, God Himself says He 'is not willing that any one should die, but that ALL should come to a knowledge of Him'.

Do you want hell full?

I will come again to my question, what would you say if they walked in to your church? How would you handle them? could you look past the "outward appearance" and even rejoice in what God would be doing in their lives so much that their deformities could be used as a praise to God for what His love has conquered?

Or shall we just lock them up and shut them away?

They should receive help rather than getting "help" to change their appearnce
but that's how the times are: It is better to change the outside than the inside (or at least easier)

You can buy your hair if it won't grow
You can fix your nose if he says so
You can buy all the make up that M.A.C. can make
But if you can't look inside you
Find out who am I too
Be in the position to make me feel so
..... unpretty
I'll make you feel unpretty too

It is a shame but you are right, this is how the times are, but Praise God through Jesus Christ it is not how we are to be!

Lets keep this sentiment, this Jesus ability to see past what we see, past the muck and crudd that cover everything and project into these people we meet and pass in the street, the unfathomable love of Christ Jesus.

Lets have the news papers full of stories about Jesus Church being full of the dismembered and disfigured, and all of societies misfits and vagabonds, who have changed lives, changes that others can feel in their heart, so no one can denounce it as hysteria but know it is the Lord claiming His own.
