We looked out of our front window this morning, and we were shocked to see that our neighbor's car was Gone... Completely... Vanished !!! (Then we remembered that she had an early doctor's appointment this morning.)
Well even though I doubted it was going to happen as predicted knowing there is still that off chance I was worried this is why I was asking

20,000 earthquakes every year. More than 55 a day, every day, all year long. Yeah, if some fool keeps guessing, eventually he will claim a date that a substantial earthquake actually does happen. I can actually predict that it will rain somewhere in America tomorrow.

No one is starting any new doctrines here, or predicting the end of the world, only pointing out that the signs of the times confirm that a major "shake-down" is coming to "prison-earth."

I don't believe it is a coincidence that someone who was in the 1964 9.2 quake, ran into someone at a hotel that was being built as the quake hit, looking at a commemoration of the quake on the wall, who told me about a guy who predicts earthquakes. Then I promised to look up his website, and, assuming it's the same guy, I find his website on the day he predicts a mega-quake on a Friday that happens to be a new moon (greater gravitational strain on the earth--he says 20 of the last 25 quakes have occured on a new moon), happens to be "Earth Day," one day before Passover, the last friday of Greek Lent before Palm Sunday (the second Easter this year begins the eve of April 30), the GOOD FRIDAY quake of 1964 was on March 27th, Easter was on March 27th this year, alaska had a "warning quake" one I had prayed for, of 7.1 saying the words in my sleep, "I know the power of God is real," on January 25th, two months before Good Friday on March 25th, the largest tectonic quake since 1964, the Good Friday quake of 1964 was also a tectonic quake with an epicenter near the Prince William Sound where the Exxon Valdez hit a reef on a GOOD FRIDAY,
Willie T has shown a connection between clusters of quakes and world events,
Now, a geologist predicts, one day ahead, a mega-quake due to the gravity of the new moon and increased seismic activity on the Pacific Rim with major tectonic quakes overdue.
Some major prophetic dreams have been confirmed, including one related to the return of Christ, and the power of God increasing exponentially like yeast, through people and the world.
The math works for me--
This morning I opened my new NLT Bible randomly to Psalm 37 which includes: "the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun," (I have said that massive prison reform is related to the teaching of Jesus at Nazareth--"I have come to announce freedom to those imprisoned upon the earth" paraphrase) after the death of Sandra Bland in Texas, and I have also stated that the speech of Martin Luther King Jr. prophesied that all would "see the glory of the LORD," comparing him to the monk, Martin Luther who began the Reformation, with the consumation being a confirmation of being born-again like a marriage between a man and woman being like a wedding of Faith being a "free-gift" of God's Grace, a relationship that must be confirmed through a faithful marriage to Heaven, which is on marriage that can never fail. This is the marriage of Protestant and Catholic-- the free-gift of Faith confirmed by the free-gift of works in a faithful relationship to the Kingdom of Heaven through Jesus, which was confirmed by the presence of Christ and Mary at the wedding at Cana-- near the valley of Meggido, the final battle on earth.
The Bible was also opened randomly to Isaiah 65 which talks of a "new Heaven and new earth," and Isaiah 64:1 which reads: "how the mountains would quake in your presence."

The honor of God will not be trampled in the dust.
Traditional marriage will stand forever.
O Lord, there are people who want to rule this nation who are champions of an inquisition to Sodom and Gomorrah, and a holocaust of the unborn. There are deranged militants blinded by rage and delusional legalism threatening peaceful people and bringing shame to their own people; Bring them down O Lord, as Psalm 37 says, "Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for Him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosperor fret about their wicked schemes."

Psalm 119 says O LORD, "It is time for you to act, O LORD, for they have regarded Your law as nothing." Your church is praying for healing and deliverance, as You prayed, O LORD, that we "may be one." We pray that you would confirm the power of God and of Christ with a warning to the world this spring from the earth, before the second Palm Sunday, as Psalm 98 proclaims: "The LORD is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice and the nations with fairness, and Psalm 99, "The LORD is King! (Adonai, Elohim, Jesus--Lord and Christ-God) Let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne between the cherubim.

LET THE WHOLE EARTH QUAKE!" (Psalm 99:1)
So....you PRAYED for an earthquake to hit Alaska?

If you actually did that, I would say that pushes you out of "conspiracy theorist" category into "full-goose bozo" land..

Hopefully I mis-read your post.

Ya I hope when posted that scripture let the whole earth quake he wasn't implying the first thing that pops to mind. I could never pray for sudden destruction on anyone I say I want to see the world on fire now to some that might make me seem like a pyro who has a lighter and says in psycho tone soon my pet soon I will feed you the world... but I am meaning I want to see ppl cuaght on fire for God. If I say I want the whole world to quake I would mean I want the world to quake from the power in every ones praise to God.

But considering the thread is about a giant destructive earth quake I cannot say it's an assumption to think he is posting the verse for an actual destructive earthquake but rather an educated guess

Poor neighbor! An early Saturday morning doctor's appointment stinks! (Saturday. The only day most folks sleep in.)

Then same question for you. Why? Even if we knew, what can we do about it but go about our lives? I excel at worrying, but I pick stuff I might be able to change to worry about.

Hey, I know I like to kid around, but in all seriousness, this brother really does seem to have lost touch with reality. It IS hard to tell if he takes himself seriously, if it's a kid playing games, the enemy, or what, but when you disect some of that post....the cath/prot wedding, praying for a warning earthquake, etc., it seems this person is not of sound mind.
And coming from a bit of a loony like me, that's saying something.
Let's pray the Lord delivers him from what's keeping him down.

Father, God in heaven, thank you that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but one of love and peace and soundness of mind.
Bless this poster 'herald' with the light of your glory and grace, grant him the truth, Lord, that you, Jesus, ARE Lord and Truth, and that he can trust in You. Bless him with soundness of mind and the peace that passes understanding. Guard all our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whos name we pray. Thank you, Lord. Amen.

Do you remember that earthquake that hit the east coast a few years ago? When it hit, I was talking to Dad on the phone. (He's an hour north of us and the quake came six hours south of us.) Hubby was on his computer right behind me.

My first thought was, "Why is he picking right now to push my chair around to get to outlets?"

At that same time he yelled over, "Stop shaking my desk."

I just got the words out to Dad, "We're having an earthquake," a second before Dad felt it.

One of my brothers lived near the epicenter. (Same quake rattled the Washington Monument enough to require some maintenance on it.) The worst damage was some trees were uprooted... on and some plant containers were toppled.

A small quake, but "I feel the earth move right under my feet."

Yes I did pray for an earthquake to warn people and confirm the geologists warning and confirm warnings from God about people disregarding God's laws and ways, in fact prayed again a few minutes ago before I logged on and saw your post which you had posted one minute ago. To warn people who want to lead America on an inquisition to Sodom and Gomorrah, with a holocaust of the unborn as a banner, in keeping with Psalm 119-- "It is time for you to act, O LORD, for they have regarded YOur law as void." (Psalm 119:126)

I regret my "LOL" at people thinking God's warnings are a joke, and thinking that people who obey the Bible's warnings are nuts. Was Elijah? John the Baptist? The warnings of Christ? The Apostle Peter?

"First, I want to remind you that in the last days, there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth...[saying] "Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he?...They made the heavens by the word of his command, and he brought the earth up from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the world with a mighty flood. And God has also commanded that the heavens and the earth will be consumed by fire on that day of judgement..." (2 Peter 3:3-7)

Yes, I did pray for an earthquake, and confirmed in prayer a few minutes before reading your post that Alaska might be a good place, rather than a populated area. And I believe the quake in Equador did not trigger a tsunami, but the geologist gave a tsunami warning as well, which is always wise with quakes on the Pacific Rim.

James said that Elijah did not have a divine nature like Jesus, but that we as Christians share his authority to ask God to act according to His will. The last time I prayed for an earthquake to warn people "not so large that anyone would have to die, but large enough to warn people," it occurred within a few weeks, which felt to most people like the largest tectonic quake since the GOOD FRIDAY quake of 1964 (March 27th, 1964), and was a 7.1 quake that was exactly large enough to warn people, yet no one lost their lives.

Still think I'm "full-goose bozo"?

We are still way within "one day" in geological terms, and definitely within "one day" in biblical terms.
The geologists warning is still active, and I concur with it.

I am not one who is able to know or hear about a tragedy and go one about my business like nothing happened.
I am concerned about the well being of others I can't even see an ambulance or a firetruck with their sirens going off without stopping for a minute hoping and praying that no one will die, I didn't used to be this way I used to be able to see this stuff and not have a care in the world but I guess the Love God placed in my heart for others compels me to do so.

I eventually have to let go and trust God but that concern and worry for their sake is not an annoyance or burden to me

"geological terms" ?
"biblical terms" ?

so, while you gave a very specific date in the thread title - a 24hr time period - and in the OP - now you're clarifying that what you really meant is that sometime in the next 10,000 years there will be an earthquake in America over 8.0 on the richter scale?

alrighty then . . .

You prayed for a destructive earthquake to hit people? Show me in the Scriptures where a Christian should pray for such things, and I will show you an example in the Scriptures of what the apostle Paul prayed for regarding people:

"Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved." Rom 10:1

Why don't you pray for deliverance of people Herald, and stop following false prophets!

Well said. Other people have made a spiritual connection as well with the power of God/Christ:
"Let all the earth tremble before Him...For the LORD is coming! He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and all the nations with His truth." (Psalm 96:9 & 12).

and, "The LORD is king! Let the nations tremble! HE sits on his throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake!" (Psalm 99:1).

I am praying against it and if it does happen this may be the last day you all will see me on earth because I can promise you that I will beg God to take my life instead of any of theirs and if he actually does this time I will be so relieved.
I had a dream once in which a person was dying and death which oddly enough looked like the grim reaper was taking them and I said in a very fiery manner you will take me.

I believe that dream was not just a dream I believe it showed the burning desire that it will be my life far before it will be anyone elses.

No, the geologist said a "mega-quake" which would be one over 8.0, If I'm not mistaken. Quakes over 8.0 are measured on the Mw scale (moment magnitude). I prayed for a warning quake before Sunday, which is Greek Palm Sunday (tomorrow-April 24th), not that anyone would be hurt. One day would include one week at least in geological time or biblical time, easily.

Did you read my post about how I normally wear flannels or sport pants at night, but for no apparent reason, I put on pajamas and played guitar about 15 minutes before going on the internet and viewing your video?

A small quake, but "I feel the earth move right under my feet."
I don't recall, but that's not unusual for me.
Sometimes I can't recall why I walked into the kitchen.
But so it's not a total loss, I usually try to grab something to eat.
It's funny how my ego has me thinking I can run my own life, but sometimes I forget to charge my phone. Anyway, I'm not sure where I was during that quake.
This is always a tough conversation, especially when so many are suffering right now as we speak from the devastations of earthquakes.
The eastern U.S.A. really has been spared much of that disaster, thank you, Jesus, and it's hard, even as a believer, to understand God's will in the midst of major catastrophes, as the destruction seems so arbitrary. But trust Him we must and we do, and He says to be of good cheer, He has overcome the world, so better to believe in Jesus than not, especially when tragedy strikes. Not always easy, though.
Father, please bless my friend Lynn with continued strength and good cheer, Your grace and protection in Jesus' name. Amen. :)
And please, Lord, be with those struggling from the tragedies occurring around the world, especially the earthquake victims, we pray for miracles in the midst of rescue operations, and your grace and mercy with all those involved. Amen.
