The books did not say that Jesus was made divine at baptism - that was what someone "added" unto his words. Bill Johnson says that Jesus was fully God and fully man at the same time but that He depended totally on the Father within Him - by the Holy Spirit to do His works.

I see nothing whatsoever wrong with what was quoted in his books - what I did see is what others "added" unto what he said to make it "appear" to be something that it was not intended to be.

Do teachers still mark on the bell curve? I liked that system...lol..All is well..have fun marking!

Talking about cats....Last night I thought it was a cat at the screen door but when I bent down to talk to it - it was a raccoon...friendly guy too. ( he looked like a thief with those eyes darkened up like a mask )

Sorry. It just seems so painfully sad to go slow, and let people think they are effectively defending themselves against a succession of small points, until they finally realize they have waded in over their heads, and then watch them start trying to back-peddle their way back out of a totally embarrassing situation.

I'd rather have a KO in the first round. It's cleaner that way.

And of course I can get exact quotes from the internet, I can get whole books from the internet without even paying a dime sometimes. Thank God!!!! I can hear people's exact words on the internet too!!

How exciting at least now I know longer go out and buy books based on some on some huge fan base.

His one book I had went in the rubbish pile several years ago with all the other books I discarded.

God knows I already wasted enough money over the years. I also know how to do quotes, did you know that there is software that can generate them for you? APA style or perhaps you prefer MLA.

I think I saw some of his other books at a second hand bookshop here in Toronto, I guess someone else was not that impressed either.

First of all, I am a skeptic about faith healers too. There a lot of fake ones. I was even skeptical about Todd White since I heard of the antics of Benny Hinn and others and was leery of them. But when I saw Todd White's videos and even an organization in Australia called The Normal Christian Life and saw real miracles occur not fake ones, I knew that something real was going on. As for the Bible, I checked a lot of the messages and then read the Bible along with it and I don't see any heresies or unbiblical teachings. There are things I don't necessarily agree 100% about, but that is usual. It was not staged and people were not being manipulated. Again, examine Todd White as he and don't put him in the same box as the fake faith healers. God bless. :)

Sadly I have had to deal with people who want nothing to do with God thats to World Harvest Church, or think mr parsley is the the new paul..

The state of Ohio tried to go after him for taxes, because he is a prophet organisation. But it is hard. I wish they would do it. but it opens a can of worms for legit churches.

I have a hard time understanding some of you guys. I have always said that I really can't worry too much about the people stupid enough to give their money to guys like this. If it wasn't through them, the idiots would find some other place to try and buy Salvation.

anyway, for the record, I did a google on Bill Johnson and I am not really seeing him as the bogeyman here

interestingly tho, I also googled one of his main detractors and found out that the guy is a southern baptist

shucks

nuff said there too

one more thing tho, this fellow also has radio program and apparently rubs elbows with people REAL Christians do not care to be seen with

please excuse the use of the word 'real', however I thought it fit right in with the theme
