So meantime, we can lay aside the doctrine of salvation, since we have one thing in common and I hope we are going to see face to face in heaven before Christ. Now we come to the doctrine of bibliology, and in so far we are discussing versions. I hope this is clear and let’s not attack personally. No it’s not Jack T. Chick that created divisive doctrinal issues. They defend the KJV with the surmounting attacks on various doctrinal issues. It’s good that you may not be going to hell, that’s great but because many of the versions no longer teach hell or tampered or altered the teaching of hell since then many goes to hell.
By saying NASB as your preference, that’s good but telling it “far more accurate and truthful than the KJV” sounds KJV is no longer truthful and accurate. KJV issue is not new , but, I would do nothing now, it’s you to prove it why so saying that NASB is far more truthful and accurate, we should know that. But when God’s word is undermined then we need to defend but sometimes it’s not all that we are going to do for sometimes the best defense is offense.
Now to “the Rock of Biblical Honesty” I’ll go for such thing, honest to goodness because “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.” Deut. 32:4. But when lies have been put in, that’s where dishonesty begins.
So, my plea is how truthful and accurate is NASB “far more” than the KJV and you have to clear this issue. It’s all yours to demonstrate.
God bless
