Speaking evil of dignities

Those Today Speaking evil of dignities- should we? did Jesus or Angeles, or David ?

In ancient Israel, King Saul’s agenda was to murder David, but he still knew it would
be wrong to kill King Saul when the opportunity came, instead cutting off only a small
piece of his robe (1 Samuel 24:3-4).

Even that turned out to be more than the future king could stomach (verse 5).
King Saul was no longer in favor with God, prophesied to lose his office, and chasing David
himself like a wild animal for slaughter. Still, David’s respect for King Saul’s God-ordained
office came first: “The Lord forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the Lord’s
anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord” .

Jesus Christ showed respect to every human ruler He came into contact with,
not because of the men [only], but because of the offices they held.
He didn’t even [rail against those] who murdered Him.

Jude 8-10
warns about speaking evil of dignities, pointing out that the archangel Michael, while conten-
ding with Satan for Moses’s body, “durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said,

The Lord rebuke thee. But these [speak evil] of those things which they know not: but what
they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things [they corrupt themselves].”

That was talking about the most evil being ever to exist.

The Apostle Paul wrote: “For there is [no authority] except from God, and those that exist have
been instituted by God. Therefore he who resists the authorities resist what God has appointed ”
-
We may have elections, but no man takes office without God allowing him to do so.
Proverbs 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.
cf: Lev 16:8,Ex 28:30, Lev 8:8, Num 27:21, Deut 33:8, 1 Sam 14:41-42, 28:6, Num 26:55 ...

Act 1:24-Matthias was chosen by lot. Notice the context...
God made the choice, the lot was the instrument God used to reveal His will.

So We may throw the dice or have elections, but the Lord determines how they fall.
But God will give the people what they deserver, or by purpuse or desire-

We the people , and the sharp down grade of morals that is bringing this country down.

The spirit of rebellion against those in office comes from Satan. He expressed his own
desire to overthrow God’s government. No human leader has ever led a perfect government.
God does not sanction abusive leadership, but He will judge those men—[not us].

Our respect for their offices—our respect for the God who allows them to hold their offices!
Should we follow the marches and chanting, and descend into speaking evil of dignities?

The next time you read a news source slamming one of this world’s leaders, ask yourself what
the intent is. The United States was built on freedom of speech, and every man should have a
voice—especially as we see the American economy systematically dismantled and society
collapsing morally. But there is a difference between simply exposing a wrong agenda and
disrespecting a dignitary—something a true Christian should never do.

-for example: the posts peacenik used to twist several issues and come up with Trump was at fault.
The Pentagon Just Admitted Trump's Plan To "Defeat" ISIS Is A Huge Joke
Sorry, Mr. President: The Obama Administration Did Nothing Similar to Your Immigration Ban | Foreign Policy

Do the news sources you use deliberately strip President Obama’s or Trumps title as a means of removing the dignity of his office? Do they mock him with cartoons and use the worst images of him they can find?

Do the discussions you join go beyond attacking a wrong agenda—attacking sin—and
descend into speaking evil of dignities?

Rather than join in with a show of disrespect, honor the highest office in the country—
the president of the United States—by attacking sin, not the sinner, just as Jesus Christ would.

Do we know what are some of the middle east players names and info from the bible? like

a future nation to spring from Ishmael, from Sarah’s Egyptian handmaid
the angel of the Eternal had said to Hagar:

“He will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man and every man’s hand
against him; and he shall dwell to the east of all his brethren” (Genesis 16:12).

Ishmael’s descendants were to become a great nation. the birthright nations
were to be greater, they were to dwell to the east of their brethren (Isaac)

The children of Ishmael have become the Arabs of today.
-
Isaac had twin sons, Esau and Jacob. Esau was the firstborn

And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment;
and they called his name Esau.

And after that came his brother out,and his hand took
hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob

The Eternal said to Rebekah, regarding Esau and Jacob,
that they were the beginning of two nations

“two manner of people, one shall be stronger than other
“and the elder shall serve the younger”(Genesis 25:23).

-

And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me with that same red pottage
for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.”

And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him
and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
-

“Edom” means, literally,“red soup,”and is so translated
remember the fact that “Edom” now refers to Esau

the name Edom refer to the descendants of Esau,
primarily the Turkish nation today.

-
“And Jacob said unto his father,I am Esau thy firstborn 27:19

Jacob tricked Esaus and took his father’s blessing,
so Isaac blessed Jacob” (verses 21-23).

Therefore God give thee (Jacob) of the dew of heaven
and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine
increase and possession]: Let people serve thee, and
nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren

and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that
curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee” Gen 27:26-29

Isaac kinda cursed Esau,“Behold, thy dwelling shall be away
from the fatness of the earth,the dew of heaven from above;

And by thy sword shalt thou live, shalt serve thy brother;

and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion
that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. --future event,
And Esau hated Jacob …” (verses 39-41).

where material blessing of wealth in the things of the ground added,
heathen nations shall be ruled by the birthright nations of Israel

And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth
and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east
and to the north, and to the south(Genesis 28:14-14).

-Israel shall eventually spread around the world
as dust of the ground, and sands of the sea shore.

Genesis 28:15 “I am with thee, and will keep thee
in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again
into this land; for I will not leave thee,
until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of”

But after years of trial and test—after finally wrestling all night
with the angel (Genesis 32:24-29)after confessing his name as “supplanter”

God bestowed His blessing upon Jacob, and took away
his reproachful name, and gave him a new, untainted name,

Israel—which means “prevailer,” or “overcomer with God.”
God appeared to Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel. Gen35:11

Turkey dries up the euphrates

The shrinking of the Euphrates, a river so crucial to the birth of civilization that
the Book of Revelation prophesied its drying up as a sign of the end times,
has decimated farms along its banks, has left fishermen impoverished and has
depleted riverside towns as farmers flee to the cities looking for work.

Revelation 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates,
and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.

-
Iraq Suffers as the Euphrates River Dwindles
Iraq Suffers as the Euphrates River Dwindles - The New York Times
-
An impending water shortage threatens millions in the Middle East.
https://www.thetrumpet.com/article/11828.18.0.0/middle-east/turkey-dries-up-the-euphrates

The Syrian civil war has once more taken a dire turn for the worse. Turkey has altered its strategy against its opponents, the forces of Syrian President Bashar Assad. Instead of simply aiding the Syrian rebels, Turkey is now also killing them with dehydration. The problem is, this brutal act threatens the lives of millions of Syrian and Iraqi citizens.

The crisis revolves around the Euphrates River, which quickly became the Euphrates Creek when Turkey completely cut off the water flow upstream of Syria, reported Al Akhbar on May 30. The Euphrates originates in Turkey and passes through the Atatürk Dam before flowing into Syria and Iraq. By cutting off the flow and directing it into the reservoir, Turkey has lowered water levels downstream.

Water levels in Lake Assad, Syria’s largest body of water, have dropped by 20 feet since Turkey shut off the water supply. The Euphrates hydrates large parts of Syria.

Middle East expert Daniel Pipes explained the looming disaster as genocide by way of “terminal dehydration.” Cutting off a nation’s water supply is potentially fatal in its severity and indiscriminate in its victims. The dry and arid regions of northeastern Syria will quickly empty if one of the most basic necessities of human life dries up.
-
6/2/2014 -Water War? Turkey Cuts Water Supply to Syria - Euphrates Shut Down
https://www.opednews.com/populum/pa...s_NATO_Syrian-Situation_Turkey-140602-17.html
-
Daniel Pipes said that if one of these dams, the Mosul Dam, collapsed parts of Baghdad itself would be under water within a few hours. Within two hours, the city of Mosul, home to 1.7 million Iraqis, would be a Mideast Atlantis.

Shutting down the Euphrates and endangering the lives of millions testifies to the brutality of the Syrian civil war. Both sides continue to outdo one another in barbarity. The current death toll stands at well over 150,000, but that number could multiply if the two sides continue to invent new, indiscriminate, extreme ways of killing each other.

Operation Arsal:
The Syrian civil war is engulfing more and more of the Middle East as time goes on.
Turkey is supporting the rebels, as are the Sunni Arab nations;
Lebanon is heavily involved through Hezbollah; Iran is funding Assad’s regime; and now
Iraq may take greater action as its cities are threatened by more than just terrorists.

WaPo:

Trump receptive to the idea of immigration reform:

The NY Times also reported this and even wrote that Trump "surpassed" Obama in his quest
for reform. I am entirely sure this latter point is entirely accurate but if it is,
then this debate has all been for naught as Trump is saying one thing in public
but may possibly be doing quite another behind closed doors.
what does WaPo mean? I do not speak slang, but guess it was not a complement

Not sure why you critize this move to compromise,
why are you so mad if he rolls some back?
this debate for naught, did you learn anything?
will this all go away if we rolled everything back?

Trump said he hopes both sides can come together to draft legislation in his first term that
holistically addresses the country’s immigration system, which has been the subject of intense
and polarizing debate in Washington for more than a decade.

Former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush both failed in their attempts to push
comprehensive immigration reform bills through Congress that offered a path to citizenship
for undocumented immigrants.

Quote "Under the concept of separation of church & state, the government has no business interfering in the exercise of this religious practice which is commanded in the Bible."

Is that so? So why was Obama not letting Christian refugees into the country?"

Quote "There are hundreds of churches nationwide who welcome the opportunity to help those refugees in need."

I have no issues helping true refugees in need, after they have been vetted. And many of those hundreds of churches get gov't kickbacks for helping resettle refugees.

Please get your facts straight - Under Obama "Muslims made up nearly half (46%) of refugee admissions, a higher share than for Christians, who accounted for 44% of refugees admitted"

Key facts about refugees to the U.S. | Pew Research Center

Why the slight margin for Muslims? Because their countries are at war as we discussed previously due to the present instability caused in their region under Bush.

Trump's immigration ban overruled again:

Trump travel ban: US judge blocks new executive order

A Federal judge in Hawaii has blocked President Donald Trump's new travel ban, hours before it was due to begin at midnight on Thursday.
US District Judge Derrick Watson cited "questionable evidence" in the government's argument that the ban was a matter of national security.
President Trump described the ruling as "unprecedented judicial overreach".
The order would have placed a 90-day ban on people from six mainly Muslim nations and a 120-day ban on refugees.
Mr Trump insists the move is to stop terrorists from entering the US but critics say it is discriminatory.
An earlier version of the order, issued in late January, sparked confusion and protests, and was blocked by a judge in Seattle.
Speaking at a rally in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday evening, Mr Trump said the ruling in Hawaii made the US "look weak". He said he would take the case "as far as it needs to go" including to the Supreme Court, adding: "We're going to win."

Hawaii is one of several US states trying to stop the ban.
Lawyers had argued that the ban would violate the US constitution by discriminating against people on the grounds of their national origin.
The state also said the ban would harm tourism and the ability to recruit foreign students and workers.

Donald Trump's first travel ban was suspended because it likely violated the due process rights of individuals with valid residency papers and visas. The battle over whether it imposed an unconstitutional religious test on certain immigrants was put off until another day. That day has arrived.
In its decision, the federal court in Hawaii used Mr Trump's own words - and the words of his advisers - against him. The text of the executive order, Judge Derrick Watson held, could not be separated from the context of the recent presidential campaign, "Muslim ban" rhetoric and all. An order that discriminates against some Muslims, he continued, is just as legally deficient as one that discriminates against them all.
Now it's back to the drawing board for the Trump administration or - perhaps an even gloomier prospect - back to the Ninth Circuit court of appeals, which ruled against the president on the original ban just last month.
After Mr Trump's previous adverse legal ruling, he angrily tweeted "We'll see you in court." Although it took a new travel order to get there, it turns out he was right.

Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson, who is attending a court hearing in Seattle in his efforts to block the travel ban, described the ruling as "fantastic news".
"It's very exciting. At this point it's a team effort - multiple lawsuits and multiple states," he said.
A court hearing was also taking place in Maryland where lawyers told a Federal judge the travel ban still discriminated against Muslims.
After the ruling in Hawaii, the legal battle is now expected to move to the federal appeals circuit.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39287656#"

As shown on the BBC video, this action by the court reveals that Trump has overreached on his authority and this led him to make an angry response to the court's action. He fails to understand that political power is subjected to checks-and-balances and cannot dictate to the courts as to the legality of his actions. On that basis the churches who grant sanctuary are not legally enjoined from doing so.

"compromise ... immigration"

All for it. Don't now where you continue to misinterpret what I post.

"Obama and Bush failed"

That is true as they were both stopped by Republican conservatives. This is because they both emphasized a blanket amnesty in their immigration reform proposals. Had they been smart, they would have de emphasized blanket amnesty and call for lower influx levels.

The Bible teaches that a nation which has faith in God has no need of a military:
Psalm 81:1-15; 27,Deut 28:7,Isaiah 41:12,I Sam 8:20
Psalm and other bible verses do not prove that U.S. is not to have an army today.
There was only one nation back then that had God as their King anyway.
-
12Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee:
they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

9Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them,
and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.
10And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king.

They where explained what would happen if they had a human king,
they rejected him as their king, then tells them how there military should be aranged.
Under King David who sat on the Eternals throne, where never told not to have a army

11And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you:
He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to
be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.

12And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set
them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and
instruments of his chariots.

22And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king.
And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.

Deut 28:7
7The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before
thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
it also said

15But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God,
to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day;
that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

45Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake
thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord
thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

49The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth,
as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

You are correct that they rejected God's rule over them. But the USA claims to be a Christian nation. Too bad so many ignore the fact that the same offer of protection is made in the New Testament's Luke 1:69-75. Therefore, contrary to popular belief, we do not need a standing army as God will fight our battles and win our wars.

Immigration

It has been a major source of population growth and cultural change
throughout much of the history of the United States.
Illegal immigrants swamping America-Why this large influx of immigrants?

Open-door policies have led to [a surge in illegal immigrants] crossing the U.S. border.
One main reason in the immigrants crossing the U.S. border [Caused by former President Obama]
-
Remarks by the President on Immigration-June 15, 2012
https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-office/2012/06/15/remarks-president-immigration

On June 15, 2012, President Barack Obama announced a new initiative
to “lift the shadow of deportation” from eligible illegal immigrants,
effectively giving them the opportunity to live and work in America without fear of being deported.

On June 5, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was renewed.
https://www.uscis.gov/news/secretary-johnson-announces-process-daca-renewal
-

JUNE 26, 2014- Illegal immigrants swamping America
https://www.thetrumpet.com/11863-illegal-immigrants-swamping-america

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (daca), allowing illegal immigrants who have lived within
America for at least five years to “come out of hiding” and file for work authorization without having
to worry about being deported to their home countries: 600,000 illegal immigrants responded.

Prior to 2013, the number of unaccompanied minors entering into America stayed within the range
of 7,000 to 8,000 per year. Last year, that number jumped to 40,000 and this year it’s projected to
be around 90,000. What has caused this dramatic spike and what does it mean for America?

Immigrant children tread treacherous political landscape - CNNPolitics.com

"The recent surge of children and teenagers from Central America showing up at our southern
border is an administration-made disaster and now President Obama is calling in (the Federal
Emergency Management Agency) to mitigate the damage," Goodlatte said statement on the
decision to create a group comprised of government agencies to address the issue.

"Word has gotten out around the world about President Obama's lax immigration enforcement
policies and it has encouraged more individuals to come to the United States illegally, many of
whom are children from Central America," Goodlatte said.

Most of the children crossing the border would not qualify for "amnesty" under the federal
program that defers deportation for children brought to the United States previously by their
parents or guardians illegally.

The huge influx of immigrants has caused one of the biggest humanitarian disasters in recent
U.S history. The Department of Homeland Security (dhs) has opened up three military bases
to house the immigrants.

Why so many children? According to Sen. Ted Cruz, “It is a direct consequence of the president’s
illegal actions. The parents think, ‘If I send my child [to the U.S.], my child will have amnesty.’
That’s what the president of the U.S. has said ….”

EDITORIAL: Children's surge of illegals overwhelms southwest border - Washington Times

ANALYSIS/OPINION:
There’s a surge on the border. This is a surge far different from George W. Bush’s dispatch
of armed might to win the day in Iraq. This is a mass movement of immigrants that threatens
to transform the nation.
-

Presidential Memorandum
-- Response to the Influx of Unaccompanied Alien Children Across the Southwest Border
https://obamawhitehouse.archives.go...response-influx-unaccompanied-alien-children-

acr

This escalating issue has caused the White House to admit June 2 that the “influx of unaccom-
panied alien children (uac) across the southwest border of the United States has resulted in
an urgent humanitarian situation requiring a unified and coordinated Federal response.”

The [former]President has said young illegal immigrants will be treated differently in America,
and they know it. Coming to America now means the possibility of free citizenship, free health
care and welfare benefits, [all on our dime].

Here is what some others are saying:

“The recent surge of children and teenagers from Central America showing up at our Southern
border is an Administration-made disaster …. Word has gotten out around the world about
President Obama’s lax immigration enforcement policies and it has encouraged more individuals
to come to the United States illegally …. Illegal border crossing is extremely dangerous and many
of these children encounter drug and human traffickers along the way”
(Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), June 2).

”It is a direct consequence of [the president’s illegal actions]. The parents think, ‘If I send my child
[to the U.S.], my child will have amnesty.’ That’s what the president of the U.S. has said. It is the
exact opposite of a humane approach to immigration or to securing our borders” (Sen. Ted Cruz
(R-Texas) to Breitbart, June 6).

”The children’s surge is another consequence of the president making good on his vow to
‘fundamentally transform’ America. He is endangering the lives of thousands of children
south of the border” (Washington Times editorial, June 9).

-
the other reasons for illegal immigrants crossing Countrys borders is,who is fighting
in the area their from, weather good or bad, or somewhere inbetween and why.

If you are going by the Old Testament read how Gideon was told to keep 300 soldiers and to send the rest home as this would insure victory against a massive army. But, of course, in Psalms we are told that no soldiers are needed. Too bad you lack the faith to believe it.

so you say we are not to have [an army] as per old test?
then argues and gives verse, and proof that Gidion only had a [small army],
that there was an army, and you proved my case for me lol.

you mistake and blur the difference between a nations promises and a single person.
proof? not one bible verse you gave says what you want it to say or mean.

you seem to be hear not to learn, but just to argue when you are pointed wrong.

you think I have no faith?
