It is never enough that they ruin a state, or cities, or that they want twisted immoral ways of death for themselves, they must force these things on all others as well...

California has worst 'quality of life' in US, study says | Fox News
Fortunately. we left California and moved back to my home state when I was sixteen. Because of crime. We lived in the neighborhood of of the "Zodiak" murders and the SLA (kidnapping of Patty Hearst), along with the "hippie" movement. Since then I realize how smart my parents were to move us back into the countryside, and farm life. California, in the meantime, has become the prime example of what happens when people blindly follow their government, while casting aside all of the things that led to their original success. Truly an "animal farm". How this behavior is justified is a mystery to the person with any common sense.

there is NO mystery here - it's just the 'world' that satan rules over...
don't 'stress' over it, else you will only be hurting yourself...

grief and grieving? yes this is what we have to learn to endure while living for our Saviour...
but He makes it possible for us to endure through LOVE and understanding...

I think most Californians live in a bubble. They have good paying jobs, they can afford nice cars, nice houses and to send their kids to college, go on vacations, play golf, etc... And they don't really care what the government here is doing, so when it comes time to vote they just elect more democrats because they don't feel any need for a change.

I think this year will be different though. The governor really crossed the line by passing the new gas tax without a vote. He was actually caught on mic laughing when someone asked him why he didn't put it to a vote by the people. He laughed and said, "It would never pass." Hopefully californians will wake up. There's already more than enough signatures to put it on the ballot, so we will get to vote it into nonexistence in november..

This article is actually pretty misleading and a good example of how statistics can be misrepresented by the media. It takes the full report here: https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/rankings and doesn't list the actual full results. It only describes one of the numerous metrics involved (there are over 75 of them) and leaves the rest out. If you look at the actual full report California does not come last, it's actually number 32. The 10 worst states are Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, West Virginia, Alabama, Alaska, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Kentucky. I live in West Virginia so I'm not really pleased by this result but it's not that surprising. It's also not surprising that the media represented this report since California coming in last makes a better news story than Louisiana coming in last.

Perhaps you're correct, but whomever gets the trophy for being the worst isn't a feat. You're missing the big picture.
