Its a good thing the store owner was able to protect his store by simply asking people not to loot it...
before this nice police officer showed up....

That's what you call a warehouse clearance sale :p

If you buy a hunting license then you don't need a concealed hand gun license and can take it anywhere, anytime in the state you have a hunting license hanging in a gun rack in your back windshield. Now not to discredit anyones manner of thinking on the subject because the events that are taking place are horrific and in my opinion should be taken control of, but how. Again now the point I think is that in regards to one sides point it should well be heeded and thought through but again no one is seeing it from every point of view.

When Cuban soldiers parachute in your back yard....... guns are a need.
Two images I got with that one:
1. Cuban soldiers jumping out of early 1950s passenger planes sporting moth-eaten, frayed, early 50s parachutes the decay away on the way down.
2. Any parachutist able to land in my "yard."

See where they might have some problems landing in it? lol

Or when a big storm blows through and wrecks infrastructure for weeks.

We don't need to be so fanciful :p
One mile from the Philadelphia docks. Less that that for the storehouses they keep the produce in. I'm good. I hope you got enough wildlife to keep you fed. Might want your recipe for prickly pear. Still don't know how to dethorn mine. (BTW, I love squirrel stew. Never had pigeon, but not opposed to it.) Made it through "The Mother of all Storms" in the 1990. Thank God, most folks don't think to buy the yeast in the store. We even had bread and that was the first thing to disappear. (Did water down the Diet Decaf Pepsi enough that 2 litters lasted 10 days.)

Yeah.... I can see one of them landing in one of your planters, and you rushing out there and beating him into submission with a broom.... "mess up MY plants, will ya? ...."

Not well versed in the law on this subject. Are they allowed to raise the age or will they have to change a law to do it?

I think they can set the law at whatever they (the states) want.

I think that individual businesses can decide who they want to sell to.... unless they get challenged in the courts for discrimination.

It's been age 21 for handguns for quite some time... I think it became law during the famous "Saturday-night special" outrage back in the 70's or 80's.

One planter you don't see in this picture is my prickly pears.

I'd dump that on her head and she'll be picking thorns off her even after they put handcuffs on. (And I say "her" because it is just as likely a female Cuban soldier will parachute into my yard as a male. America is not going to be invaded by Cubans in my lifetime. lol)

Is a florist allowed to choose who he/she will sell wedding bouquets to?

Is a baker allowed to choose who he/she will sell a wedding cake to?

Is a pizzeria allowed to choose who he/she will cater for a wedding?

Is a home-based business owner allowed to choose who he/she will let into her/his home to do business with?

Yes, in all cases.

Besides, the radical left only gets upset when the business decision doesn't fit into their agenda.

You want safety, get people to stop breeding little monsters. There are consequences to raising undisciplined youth, broken families, fatherless homes, sexual immorality, drinking mountain dew, reality TV, and general low brow culture.
Aint THAT the truth!

Today's pansied children would NEVER be able to win WWII.

Since guns don't kill people, people should be allowed to have guns.

How far does that go?

Since Sarin and Anthrax don't kill people, I should be able to stockpile them, right?

Do you have a legitimate sporting use for Sarin or Anthrax? Or, a legitimate self-defense use?

Most importantly, is your right to own those poisons specifically spelled out in the Constitution?

The second amendment became part of the Constitution specifically because the founding fathers were what we would call today "radicals." They DID fight the government and won the right to leave it behind and start their own. Knowing what they knew -- that any government can become a tyranny at any time -- dang right people need guns! Duh now! They did. And they certainly knew what civil unrest was coming in the future because they purposely avoided that argument at that moment. Slavery!

They were not stupid men. They absolutely knew they held off that problem for their lifetime (or not, but at least until the country was its own country.) They saw the writing on the wall because they wrote it!

So, yeah, second amendment is forever a needed amendment. Without it, slavery would remain legal to this day. (We still have slaves, but not legally.)

And, given the last presidential election was between a blowhard and a criminal, I do see, maybe soon, people will become fed up enough to go for second civil war.

I say this knowing I am the person who should never own a gun. Only own a gun if you have purpose for it. Given I don't have the stomach to kill anything with a gun, a gun in my hands is a disaster waiting to happen. (And do not tell me I have the will to kill someone if the situation were just right. I've lived through "the situation was just right" twice, and couldn't. That is a line of BS that everyone has that. And don't think that means I'm a pacifist either. Maming I have no problems with. I went for the crotch hoping for extra Adam's apples on those men.)

If this country breaks out in civil war in my lifetime, or is invaded, I'm likely to die.

But, I am now and will forever be thankful to that second amendment, because we certainly need the ability to take on the government at the right time.

Guns kill. The difference is who is doing the shooting and why. I want my cops and soldiers to kill who they're aiming at in the line of duty. I want hunters to share the venison, squirrels, rabbits, ducks, and geese with me.

I do not want idiots shooting people, but that isn't because there are guns. That's because there are idiots. And more and more idiots because America has been indoctrinating generations of people to believe there is no God, therefore, there is no sanctification of anything, including life and marriage!

Hey! Here's the key!

LEARN how to handle a gun... It's not the having but the lack of learning and understanding!
The point of the picture is that if you can handle a gun, you can defend yourself anywhere.

Yes, but only in limited quantities and in suitable containers to reduce the risk of unwanted exposure.
