I am new to christian chat and relatively new to Christianity. I didn't believe in God most of my life until about 5 years ago. I was baptized a year and a half ago. I don't have a church that I attend right now. I would like to find a non denominational church closer to my home but I haven't been motivated to go check churches out. I know that I need christian community to thrive and grow as a christian but since becoming a Christian I have struggled with making any Christian friends. I don't spend any time with any of my old non-Christian friends as it seems that God has removed them from my life slowly over the years. I am going through an especially hard time right now as my fiance is in jail and I just changed jobs after being a caregiver for 16 years. I am feeling extremely lonely and hoping some conversation here may help.
