Mary IS the Mother of God. But that does not mean that she is greater than God or that she came before God.

The only thing Mary contributed was the lining of the uterus for the vessel.
I don't believe Christians should make such inappropriate remarks. Physiologically she did more than that, and spiritually she was greatly blessed and favored.

That is incorrect. Mary is the mother of Jesus of Nazareth, and nowhere in Scripture will you find anyone called "Mother of God". God is the triune Godhead, not just Jesus (who was God manifest in the flesh).

Who is Jesus of Nazareth? Is He not God?

If He is than Mary must be the Mother of God. Anything less would be an insult to Jesus.

While the term "Mother of God" is not found in Scripture, neither is "triune" or "Trinity" yet they are considered Scriptural.

Did Mary do that, or did God?
God creates all living things, so yes God did create the woman to have monthly cycles, and took what the human body discards as waste and used that, just like a tree it as well has a cycle of life once the cycle ends, the tree decays into dirt, supplying support for the seed of the tree to survive it's next cycle. as well the lower human rib self regenerates. this is how God created those three vessels with the byproducts of life.

yes she did she nursed him, clothed him, taught him to walk and talk etc. but no she didn't do a thing to create the vessel it was God and what He used of the woman wasn't a egg for sure. And that is what I was speaking of not your inappropriate thoughts.

As though you -- or anyone else -- would know for sure! This is pure speculation and presumption.

Some things are best left alone, since God has not revealed them to us. As Scripture says "The secret things belong unto the LORD or God" (Deut 29:29).

Indeed and you know what even if God reveals things doesn't mean anyone will comprehend it or believe, look at Noah, I could say things that I know you would hang me for no doubt.

I believe people most of the so called Christian of today are those same people mocking Noah, time does not change a thing.

there are very few child like faith today , most run around with adult faith.

how old is the universe Nehemiah? I know what you believe, another little pot calling the kittle black.

Go back one page and read post #14. "Mother of God" is a fallacious equivocation.

This is not an example of "fallacy of equivocation". It is simple logic: If A equals B and B equals C, then A must equal C. You are trying to separate Christ's humanity from His divinity.

I have, I'm just saying to show it can be a catholic-wide thing.
It is for sure, most Catholics believe she was the mother of God, God has never had a mother. God used a woman to deliver the vessel of Jesus, God could of used a man but that wouldn't have gone over to well with the people lol..

God impregnated her, I was under the impression that she would be God's bride in Heaven, no? Not mother? "Mother of God" doesn't make sense to me.

You are correct. She is the Mother of God the Son, daughter of God the Father, and spouse(wife) of God the Holy Spirit.
