Does not matter...your premise is false and misleading....you cannot say MOST Christians are in bondage to SATAN....based upon the following truths...
i can say most Christians are in bondage to satan, because i believe that to be True. Do most Christians knowingly and willingly commit sin, yes or no? If you say "Yes, most Christians do indeed knowingly and willingly commit sin" Then how do you say they are not in bondage to it? If they can't stop from it, how is that not bondage to it?
Do you believe there are many or few who do not commit sin, even as i don't? Many or few? IF than only a few find that narrow and difficult path that leads to life everlasting, how is it not correct in saying that MOST Christians are in bondage to satan.
i would guess your definition of bondage to sin is different than my definition of it. Scriptures teach that those who continue to live in sin are in bondage to sin. If you would like to see the Scriptures then click
HERE to read the article on it.
a. You do not know MOST CHRISTIANS and cannot biblically judge their stance before GOD
True, however if most Christians are indeed knowingly and willingly committing sins, then it would be correct in saying Most Christians are in bondage.
b. Greater is he that is in YOU than HE IN THE WORLD....JESUS is in ALL Christians by faith and spiritual birth
If Jesus is greater in a person, than why would they obey satan and commit sin? Don't get me wrong, i 100% agree that Jesus in me, is GREAT, for every single temptation that comes my way, HE helps me to overcome it, so YES, He is AWESOME, without Him, i would not be able to walk as He did. So yes He is Great in us. But if a person is knowingly and willingly obeying satan when they are tempted to commit a sin, how is Jesus Great in that person? Did Jesus help that person overcome that temptation? Where is the Power and Strength of Jesus Christ to overcome that temptation?
c. THERE are NO verses in context that STATES that MOST CHRISTIANS are in bondage to SATAN
True, Is it not written. your master is to whom you obey? Yes that is written. Therefore if a Christian continually obeys satan and commits sins, knowingly full well they are sinful, but continues to do them anyways, how is that not in bondage to satan? i use to be in bondage to smoking, i did not want to cease from it, did not want to quit from it. And even when i wanted to quit from smoking i could not do so, i was most certainly in bondage to smoking. But then i gave them up for Jesus, not for me, not for family, not for my health, not for anything but giving them up for Jesus. He freed me from that bondage, it was His power and strength that helped me to overcome smoking. And he did not only do that for my smoking, but for my anger issues, for my porn issues, for my fornication issues, for adultery issues, for my lusting issues, for my pride issues, for my ________ issues, too many to even list. But Jesus Christ helped me with them all. Now i am free from all those things that held me in bondage, because He is most certainly GREAT in me, and could be in you as well.
Be honest man and face the facts.....just admit the truth and change your thread title...
You could have used the word SOME or even possibly MANY, but to say MOST is misleading and incorrect based upon a-c.....
i am sorry, but i agree with the statement that most Christians are even now in bondage to satan. Is it not written:
1Jn_3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
So all those Christians who knowingly and willingly commit sin, which is NOT righteous AT ALL, how are they not in bondage to satan if they continue to live in those sins that they CAN'T cease from? Scriptures even calls those who can't cease from sin "Cursed Children"
Scriptures teach who is and who are not covered by His Blood, listen to the verse:
1Jn_1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him (saved)
, and walk in darkness (sinning),
we lie, and do not the truth: But IF (CONDITIONAL)
we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
These verses only do not teach that, ALL of Scriptures teaches that too.
There is no way you can make that call without knowing MOST CHRISTIANS and their walk before God....!
That may be True, however i can say for certain, any Christian who knowingly and willingly obeys Jesus Christ enemy, and does that which they know full well is sinful yet does it anyways, WITHOUT ceasing from it, is even now in bondage to that sin, because they are not seeking Jesus to help them overcome it.
Now instead of addressing what i actually said above, please respond like you usually do, that i am a self proclaimed prophet who believes my screen name will be mentioned by Jesus on Judgment Day.
