53 year old who's been slowly making his way back to Christ over the past 10+ years....with lots happening in the last year or so as I've felt God calling me to have a closer relationship with Jesus as my Lord.

My real introduction to my Christian faith started when I was a kid growing up in NJ....we lived there from the time I was in kindergarten until grade 4. I walked away when I was 17 and have been making my way back ever since 2006 when I was 40.....I turned by back on Christ but He didn't turn His back on me. Later this year I'm making a trip back to NJ and will be attending worship at my old church, with the Bible I was given by the church when I was 8....

I am a Canadian prodigal also :D Raised in a large Irish Catholic family/home, walked away at sixteen, not to return until I was 49 :D Praise God He does not give up on us! I am grateful to have survived the stupidity of my youth (y):giggle:

Now have my picture up....one of the joys of having a 5 year old is that I get to relish in forgotten pleasures, like eating an ice cream sandwich.
