Actually it does put an end to observing the letters. If the righteousness of the law is fulfilled by loving one's neighbor then there is no need for the letters of the law; they have become obsolete.
So we can now worship other gods, vain God's name, break the Sabbath, commit murder, adultery etc. I am positive Paul's hard to understand words that came with a stern warning for good reason 2 Peter 3:16 is not teaching to sin Rom 7:7 and dishonor God Rom 2:22-23. But we are given free will.

You keep saying we don't have to obey the letter, it ended, but when asked about breaking the letter say we shouldn't do these things as its not love. Breaking the letter of the law is not okay and not what Paul is teaching, and you prove this point by your answers because its just common sense, we will not break God's law if we love Him or our neighbor, and this reconciles with the scriptures.

1 John 5: 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

His commandments: Love God. love your neighbor

The 4th commandment is observed and kept when we rest in the faith and knowledge that God is sanctifying us in Christ, which is loving God because we believe his witness

Your words, not what is written in the Holy Scriptures or what Jesus taught which we are to live by. God already defined His commandments Exo 20:6 written by His own finger which there is no greater Authority Exo 31:18 which are summarized by love. Rom 13:9 The summary does not delete the details. Not a jot or tittle can pass from His law because no one is above God to edit His Words and He said He would not Psa 89:34 Man can't sanctify themselves Isa 66:17, we need God for everything Eze 20:12

Guess we will have to agree to disagree, and all gets sorted out soon enough.

God promises to take care of us, when we obey Him, even at the expense of I may not feed my family, I may be out of work, God promises our essentials when we place our faith in Him.

The example is expressed very plainly in Daniel and Daniel is a prophetic book so it's not there by accident and something at the end of time we will all have to make a decision whether we are faithful to God, He still tests us now. Daniel and his friends faced similar predicaments- there was a decree where everyone had to bow to the golden image breaking one of God's commandments. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trusted and placed their faith in God to obey Him even at the risk of death. Jesus saved them through the burning furnace. Daniel was also in a similar predicament when another decree went out against obeying one of God's commandments and Daniel faithfully obeyed God at the risk of being eaten by Lions. God faithfully saved Daniel through the lions dens. The point is, we need not to trust in ourselves, we need to trust in God. I have been through some similar situations on the Sabbath, one where it put my company in jeopardy, but being faithful to God, He took care of me ten-fold and He will for anyone who places their faith in Him, go to Him in earnest prayer. Working on the Sabbath because we need money puts our faith in ourselves, trust God. I know of a ton of similar stories people who faced similar predicaments and how being faithfully to God no one will ever regret. It's not this life that matters, its eternal life that will.

Its not my job to convince you. I can share the scriptures, but if one chooses not to believe them, nothing more I can do. I can share and pray and hope one day the scriptures may be reconsidered.
Well we both shouldn't be trying to convince anybody of what commandments to abide in especially Sabbaths.

Corinthians 2:16
Therefore let no one judge you in regard to food, or in regard to drink, or in regard to a feast, or a New Moon, or Sabbaths,

There’s some context you left out as there is more than one Sabbath in the Scripture and Paul was very careful to explain the sabbath(s) he was referring to. The short version of the context is found here if interested. https://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/the-sabbath.213758/page-88#post-5388874

So let me ask you, can we apply this reasoning to any of the other commandments. Like for example, committing adultery. Can we use an excuse that I no longer love my spouse as a reason to commit adultery. Or my neighbor plays loud music, that's a reason to commit murder. Or I have a lot of money and a reason not to worship only God. I think we can justify any number of reasons of why not to obey God, the way He commanded. The Sabbath commandment is really no different than any of the others. There is no where God ever said obey the commandments of God except the Sabbath.

The Israelites must have had similar thinking in the wilderness, which kept them from entering Canaan. their promised land. We are told not to follow their same path of disobedience Heb 4:6 Heb 4:11

Eze 20:13 Yet the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them.

Heb 4:6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience

Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
That wouldn't be loving your neighbor would it?. If your day off is Wednesday honor it as a Sabbath or treat everyday as a Sabbath.

These verses below you posted is correct. N
there is no need to preach disobedience of the Sabbath rest, to those who enter the rest. Lest anyone fall by trying to keep Sabbaths.

Heb 4:6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience

Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

Take a look at Eze 20:13 Eze 20:21, the passage in Hebrews is relating the disobedience of the Israelites in the wilderness and bringing it forward to todays time and telling us not to follow their same path of disobedience. Many didn’t keep the Sabbath either and it didn’t turn out so well. Why Heb 4:9NIV says the Sabbath rest remains for God’s people and the rest in this verse literally translates into Sabbath-keeping.

Loving God is obedience to God the way He asks. He doesn’t ask for a lot, but I believe He means what He says. You think all days are alike, God said the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God Exo 20:10 and to rest from our works and keep the Sabbath day holy. Exo 20:8 Adam and Eve thought a tree was just a tree and their disobedience changed everything. I don’t think doing the same thing that has separated us from God by being disobedient is the path back to Him. He says its not Mat 15:3-14 Mat 5:19 Mat 7:21-23 Rev 22:14-15 but He gives us free will and longs for us to choose trusting and placing our faith in Him and living by His every Word, the way He said because He created us and knows what’s best for us.

Matthew 24:20 is about being restricted during winter or the less than a mile of travel distance during the Sabbath.

SabbathBlessing,
Jesus in His own Words said the Sabbath would not end at the Cross but would be kept decades later for His faithful Mat 24:20

I'm 56 and been to a few churches on Sunday not many only a handful of times in my life. I've never considered Saturday to be a Sabbath but surely dont have a problem with it. I know God is working everyday and I'm comfortable with treating everyday as a Sabbath.

They knew that tree was different from the others and not just a tree. God told them beforehand about it.

It’s about the destruction of Jerusalem, approx 40 years after the death of Christ, its also in a prophetic chapter of Mat 24 so it has a dual purpose for end time. There is no scripture saying one can only travel less than a mile on the Sabbath, perhaps why you didn’t provide scripture.

Cant even got out, got to stay put. The jews practice around 3/4 of mile radiance.

Exodus 16:29
See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

The reason for the warning was because they lived in a culture that would punish them for violating the sabbath, and the gates of Jerusalem were locked for the sabbath so that no one could enter or leave. Impossible to flee the city when the gates are locked

And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day. Nehemiah 13:19

Jesus never really mentioned the sabbath except to say he was lord of it. If we are one body with Christ, what does that make us?

... Jesus reaffirmed the moral commandments, and Paul said in CL 2:16-17, "Do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These [the Mosaic sacrificial system] are a shadow of the things that were to come [the New Covenant]; the reality, however, is found in Christ."

Colossians 2:16-17 Let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ.

The Ten Commandments have been with God from Creation and will be with us on the New Earth "... and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship me, saith the Lord." (Isaiah 66:23) Moses did not write the ten Commandments; they were given to him by God. The Ten Commandments are not part of the Law of Moses or any part of the old Mosaic Law. "Do not think that I come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (Matt 5:17) The Sabbath is mentioned 60 times in the NT alone and all have to do with the 7th day Sabbath but on which refences an annual Sabbath. God made the Sabbath for all mankind (Mark 2:27). Jesus kept it (Luke 4:16), Paul kept it (Acts 17:2), and Gentiles kept it (Acts 13:42-44; 16:13) Several of the Ten Commandments are mentioned throughout the New Testament. God only set one day apart from the rest and blessed it, sanctified it and blessed it and that would be the 7th day of the week not the first.
This subject has been done to death.

By what authority do you say that the 10 commandments are not part of the Law of Moses? If you are a Jew, you may have a point - applied to yourself. The commandments were given to Israel, not to the Gentiles. I am not a Jew, so I do not observe the Sabbath. Fortunately for me, I have not been stoned to death for it. Why do you not follow the instructions regarding punishments for breaking the commandments?

I'm saved by grace, not by outward conformity to a set of rules.

Paul said the the commandments were part of the Law: Romans 7:7 & 8

"What then shall we say? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have been mindful of sin if not for the law. For I would not have been aware of coveting if the law had not said, “Do not covet.” But sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the law, sin is dead."

You need to die. Then the Law has no application to you. Christians need to know the whole counsel of God, not cherry pick scriptures to suit their own biased opinions.
