First of all the issue of Islam and Israeel is a special issue. if you take a look at the history you see in 1400 years ago when Jews according to their predictions about a new prophet went to Mecca to be the first people who accept and obey this prophet, when they saw this is Muhamad, it was the time where Jews started being against Muslims.
so all these 1400 years they tried to act against what Muslims act (like jews tribes in Arabic saudia)

second: why you don't look at the other aspects?
wars, women, etc...
did you know it was a rule that when Muslims are in a battle field, they have to do 3 steps before fighting:
1- they have to declare that we're ready not to fight with you and live in peace beside each other
2- if they didn't accept the peace, Muslims say we only fight with your men, not women, nor children nor even old people and nor injured men.
3- then it's forbidden to destroy anything of that people's houses, also it's forbidden to poison their water or fire their houses, or even follow injuries to kill them, etc.
now take a look at deuteronomy:13:15-18 and see the rules for fighting. which one is more peaceful?
killing all inhabitants and even their cattle? firing and burning everything?
Where do you get these rules from because Muslims have obviously broken all of them

so you agree Islam is a Violent religion?

and do you think they condone the use of force and violence to convert and people to thier religion?

A person becomes a Christian by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You must believe he died on the cross for your sins and rose on the third day with all power in is hand. For we believe according to our faith which is given unto us by God. For faith is the substance of things hoped for evidence of things not seen. Just as Jesus told Thomas, Blesseth are they who have not seen me but yet still believe. Therefore, when it comes to Christianity you have to see if you are trying to follow a religion that man has man or are you following Jesus Christ.

I am willing to bet most Christians do not follow every rule in the Bible too. I can't remember the last time I saw a witch burned, or an adulterer stoned to death.

And really, just because Islam has 1 type of violence that the Bible doesn't. Doesn't make the Bible any less violent.

Islam is NOT an inherently violent religion. There are many millions upon millions of peaceful Muslims on this planet who abhor violence just as much as you or I.

Judging every Muslim by the actions of a few terrorists is no worse than saying all Christians are evil because of the KKK, or the bombings in Northern Ireland, or the Catholic child molestation scandals, or Anders Breivik's atrocities in Norway last year.

Sadly, there are ALWAYS extremists on every side.

Quran is not a story or history book, to stay in a neutral side, it has some rules which we can use them in our lives today as MUhammad himself said and also this Quran never changed and mutilated in the course of history as itself predicted this issue.
so the way of Quran's explanation is that you see a rule or advice, so to make it more clear, it talks about the real stories of previous people after that, like someone doubted about hereafter, so Quran explained the life of one of the prophets which asked God same question and god died him for 100 years and after that revived him and showed him his donkey is destroyed but his food beside him is not changed in this 100 years.
or you see the different aspects of Moses' life which is used for different subjects.

it's a so funny answer to say the author had a nomadic life-style, while Muhammad 53 years lived in Mecca and the last 10 years in Medina and also Quran is not Muhammad's thoughts, it's like the original Torah, the divine book.

The holy book of Islam is riddled with contradictions. Consider, for example, what it says about creation. In one place it asserts that Allah created everything in “the twinkling of an eye” (Sura 54:49-50). Elsewhere it says that the time period of the creation was two days (Sura 41:9, 12); four days (Sura 41:10); six days (Suras 7:54, 10:4, and 32:4); in “a day equaling 1,000 years” (Sura 32:5); and also in “50,000 years” (Sura 70:4). That’s a total of six different time periods!

The quran contains many scientific errors. A crude example is found in Sura 18:8-86 where it says that Alexander the Great followed the setting of the sun and discovered that it went down into the waters of a muddy spring!
Many Arabian fairy tales about genies are contained in the quran, and the book is also full of historical errors. It presents Mary the mother of Jesus as the sister of Moses and Aaron (obviously confusing her with their sister, Miriam). The Noahic flood is placed in the time of Moses, and the claim is made that one of Noah’s sons refused to enter the Ark and was drowned.
The quran also pictures Abraham as offering Ishmael as a sacrifice in Mecca, whereas the biblical account has Abraham offering Isaac on Mt. Moriah in the area that would later become the heart of Jerusalem.

The quran asserts that the god of Islam is the God of Christians and Jews (Sura 29:46). Nothing could be farther from the truth.

The god of Islam, Allah, is most definitely not the God of the Bible. Allah is presented in the quran as an autocratic ruler who is aloof and arbitrary (Sura 5:40). Allah is unknow*able whereas the God of the Bible is knowable (2 Timothy 1:12). Allah is impersonal, unlike the personal God the Scriptures reveal (1 Peter 5:6-7). Allah is unitarian (Sura 4:48) whereas the God of the Bible is trinitarian (2 Corinthians 13:14). Here is what the quran says about the God of the Bible (Sura 4:171): “Believe in Allah and say not ‘Trinity.’ Cease! It is better for you! Allah is only One God. Far is it removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son.”
Allah is capricious (Sura 2:284), whereas the true God is trustworthy. And Allah is never anywhere presented as a god of love — which is the essence of the nature of the true God.
1Jn 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1Jn 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1Jn 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1Jn 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1Jn 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

The quran denies point blank that Jesus was the Son of God (Sura 112:2-3). It also denies His atoning sacrifice by claiming that he never died (Sura 4:157). A substitute died for Him on the Cross. Jesus was translated to Heaven, like Enoch, where He will remain until He returns to kill all pigs, destroy all crosses, and convert the world to Islam. Jesus is characterized in the quran as nothing more than “an apostle of Allah” (Sura 4:171).

Now consider what the Bible says,

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Just for the sake of argument, the Qur'an doesn't necessarily differ on the time periods of when the earth was created. One passage says that the earth was created in 2 days, another that sustenance came in four days (whatever that means), and a third that the earth and the heavens were altogether created in six days. So the heavens would have taken 4 days more than the earth. Just saying... Otherwise that would be a rather large error and some pretty damning evidence against the Qur'an. Your thoughts?

This issue has been addressed when Elijah challenged the priests of Baal. The true God answered by fire.
There was obviously a division between beliefs here. And a house divided against itself can not stand. God set a clear example then and continues to do so now according to His will. Those who know Him realise that christianity can be a religion just like so many others if people approach it that way. But also, that if it is a living interaction between the person and God, then the truth is revealed beyond cultural, intellectual, emotional or any other influences. Even beyond personal preference.
God is God, Almighty and King of kings.. And as such, must be approached according to His own rules. Not our own. People try to make Him fit human rules and understanding and then come up with things like, "all gods are one" or other ear tickling or self serving ideas.
Draw near to Him spiritually, in humility and with faith. Do this and He will draw near to you. Seek Him and you will find Him.
Avoid the sink holes of religious arguments, culture and intellectualism and go after the truth instead. Experience wins over opinion every time. Experience God and write about that. There are already enough opinions. Experience gives true authority to speak on a topic.

If you said Islam is a violent religion to convert people to, then your proofs is either some recent events or some rules, if you claim Islam's rules are violent, the reality is that these rules in Christianity is more violent,
if Muslims act such I explained in their wars, they don not fight except some men who fight, in Christianity I showed you worse than that in the bible to kill all and burn them all.
if you talk about stoning, in holy bible they stone not only human but also the animals, so, either Islam be violent or not, we've to see that each religion came in its special time regarding to human's wisdom,
so Islam says Christianity is true, but Islam came after that and brought some new rules which is more complete.

The holy book of Islam is riddled with contradictions. Consider, for example, what it says about creation. I wish at least you had looked at the Quran translation before writing (or pasting from other websites) these, in order not to have such funny mistakes.

ok first of all:

 • the twinkling of an eye” (Sura 54:49-50): the topic it's talking about is about the events in the hereafter, not World's creation!

 • Two days (Sura 41:9); it said: He created the earth in two days, do you think whole of the world is earth?! what about heavens and the sky?!

 • Four days (Sura 41:10); it clearly said : He determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days.
 • 6 days, (Suras 7:54) it's the certain period for creating whole of the world.
Second:
10.000 and 50.000 are the numbers to show human the length of hereafter, so it's about the period of hereafter Not World's creation!
which is different for different people, like in
Revelation22:5 says there is not night there, etc..

Third: if you can't read Arabic, at least take a look at the translation!
about alexander, it's the verse:
"Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people"

Forth:

For your other lies about historical errors, show the verse if you claim so and tell us why it's error.
Quran presents the Saint Mary as the mother of Jesus (and even there is a chapter dedicated to her,) not the sister of Moses!

and about God qualifications, You say God is one, Islam says God is once, you call your god "Jesus/father/Holy spirit" and Islam calls same God "Allah", so it's not an error, it's the difference between these two religions.

so you oboviously believe in
Islam ? correct

it would be interesting to work out how many people each reilgion has killed over the last 2000 years and see which is the most violent we would of course have to include when muslims killed
muslims and when christians killed christians , suicide bommers , honor killings, and abortions, and as far as the most violent religion goes i personaly think Islam would win.

do you have any certianty you will get to heven ? the God i serve promises it to me

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

i would also like to see some verses from the koran that talk about love

thanks

Do not not go after false gods....
First you have to know which gods are false and why. Otherwise you're going to have to reject the brain God gave you and settle for irrationality which I believe contradicts his nature of truth and reason. The very act of plugging your fingers in your ears goes against God in my opinion. It doesn't say a lot for Christians either, and if someone who actually does this can't stomach the stupidity they've advocated on behalf of Jesus then they're going to lose their faith.

It's just best to address these issues. Truth is truth. If you seek the God of truth and pray then you will find it. So there's nothing wrong in questioning and putting other faiths to the test. If Christianity is true, then the rest will always fall short. Honestly I think we all know that the Qur'an plainly contradicts Christianity, otherwise Imaan wouldn't have a point to prove. It's like the Mormons who come to your door. They agree with everything you say, but then seem to want you to come to their church and be baptised as if it's going to matter.

According to the word of God, the earth was created the first day.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Two days (Sura 41:9); it said: He created the earth in two days, do you think whole of the world is earth?! what about heavens and the sky?

The quran says he created the earth in 2 days. Which contradicts the word of God.
041.009 Say: Is it that ye deny Him Who created the earth in two Days? And do ye join equals with Him? He is the Lord of (all) the Worlds.

what about heavens and the sky?!

Gen 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
The Bible says that firmament (visible arch of the sky) was created on the second day.
Not the earth as the quran says.

The word of God says that every animal after his kind was created the fifth day.
Gen 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Gen 1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Four days (Sura 41:10); it clearly said : He determined therein its [creatures'] sustenance in four days.

The quran says he created Sustenance (creatures) in four days. Which contradicts the word of God.
041.010 He set on the (earth), mountains standing firm, high above it, and bestowed blessings on the earth, and measure therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion, in four Days, in accordance with (the needs of) those who seek (Sustenance).

the twinkling of an eye” (Sura 54:49-50): the topic it's talking about is about the events in the hereafter, not World's creation!
054.049 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure.
054.050 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye.
Where in these verses or even in the chapter called Al-Qamar does it say it’s about the hereafter?

6 days, (Suras 7:54) it's the certain period for creating whole of the world.
007.054 Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o’er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!
Again the word of God says the heaven and earth were created the first day and second day Gen 1-8.

10.000 and 50.000 are the numbers to show human the length of hereafter, so it's about the period of hereafter Not World's creation!
So you’re saying that the hereafter lasts only 10,000 and 50,000 years? Doesn’t that already contradict itself?

The word of God says, that God has a son.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The qurans says that God has no son.
004.171 O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not “Three” – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.

and about God qualifications, You say God is one, Islam says God is once, you call your god "Jesus/father/Holy spirit" and Islam calls same God "Allah", so it's not an error, it's the difference between these two religions.

It is quite obvious that the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is not the same god as in the quran as you stated.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Here's a contradiction in the Qur'an that doesn't seem to have any remedy: Contradictions in the Qur'an: Heaven or Earth, which was created first? It differs on when the heavens and earth were created.

Anyway, some more articles of the like: Contradictions / Difficulties in the Qur'an

Does proving one religion wrong make another religion right? And by that logic, if there is anything wrong in the bible, does that in fact make the bible as a whole in error?

No, it just narrows your choices down, which I think is a good thing. And if the Bible claimed to be delivered from the testimony of a single entity rather than written down by various authors across a span of thousands of years, then finding one error in it in the form of a lie would render it all untrustworthy in my opinion.

You have to understand that the Bible is a collection of books - not a single volume as the Qur'an seems to be. So if we find even one very contradictory error, which no amount of studying will clear up, in the Qur'an then that means it was not given by divine inspiration. If we find one such error in the Bible then we'd just throw out that book - not the entire Bible.

thanks for showing some verses,
You claimed some wrong sentences came in Quran and then claimed Quran has mistakes and I showed you that you're wrong and it's not as you said.
but for proving your claim that what Bible said is true and what Quran said is wrong, or let's say the Bible is the words of God and Quran is not, it's something that you must first prove that the Bible is not changed in the curse of history and it's the original words written by Moses (Old testament) and the New testament is exactly what Jesus said and there were no contradictions between gospels.

I think it's better instead of looking for such so called Contradictions, think a bit more or at least read the verse once.
It's so interesting to read this exact details and the creation process in which first the Earth was created and then Heaven. and there is not Contradiction actually, how?

1- Sura 2:29 : He it is Who hath created for you all that is on earth. Then He turned to the heaven, and made them into seven heavens.

2- Sura 79:27-30 :
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.
He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.
And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.
And after that He spread the earth.

so according to these verses, it makes sense to say that God first created the Lands on earth, then created heavens and then started spreading the lands on earth, as geologists say at first the continents and all lands used to be a unite land at first, and later it started spreading through oceans.
I did not interpret the verses but also said what is written which is more than obvious and so clear !

please next time try to look them more carefully !

I'd like you to take a look at the verses which follow Sura 79:27-30 and ask yourself if these events, which come after the creation of the heavens, fall into the category of Sura 2:29 where "all that is on earth" was created before the heavens:

Sura 79:30-33 "And after that he spread the earth. He extracted from it its water and its pasture, and the mountains he set firmly as provision for you and your grazing livestock."

To me Sura 2:29 says, in effect, "Everything in the land was created first, and then the heavens were created afterward." And then Sura 79:27-33 says, "The heavens were created first, and then the land and everything in it was created afterward."

Proving one religion wrong doesn't mean another is right. Besides, there are mistakes in the Bible too. Maybe not as glaring and obvious. But there are mistakes.

I'd like to study them. Would you have any handy? I've looked over atheist compilations of contradictions before. If you have anything that would narrow that list down for us and that we could focus on it might make things interesting. And maybe we could clear them up. In other words, got any big ones that you've had problems with for a long time?
