It often helps to greet the other new people too, but don't be too disappointed when many of them don't respond. Sadly, a lot of people want friends, but only if it means not spending much effort . Also, I think that many people don't realize how the site works; they think the forums are like live chat, and when nobody answers within a few minutes, they leave, never to return . We must stop this! I think that the site owner is trying to have a video made of how to use the site, but he's really busy (I think he does all of the work on the site himself), so it might be awhile.
