I would call them power pop (though they are harder than that at times) with some indie rock soundage.

I wouldn't say his music is hard at ALL... definitely not. But I DO know he is a Christian and has music with a Christian message... but chose not to sign with a Christian label so he could reach more. ;]

Yeah lol..that sounds like a good description! And then with a higher voice...

I kinda hated his voice at first...took me awhile to warm up to it. But now it's all good!

My favorite Christian band of all time is Mercy Me, because of the song "I can Only Imagine"

The first time I heard that song, it just hit me so hard, and I actually started crying. It was just so powerful, and I'll never forget it.
