Please don't take me wrong. I have nothing against Roman Catholics. In fact, some of my best friends are Roman Catholics. I do believe that there will be many Roman Catholics in heaven. But I think that this will be in spite of some erroneous teachings, not because of them. It is not my job to judge people, that is Christ's job.
But the Scriptures do command us to root out and expose heretical teachings. I am sorry if you find this offensive, but it is what we are commanded to do.
I have been accused, directly in this thread by one poster, and indirectly by others, of being mean spirited, unloving, and divisive. I think that it is interesting that I have been accused of this, when I have limited my comments to the ideas and comments of others. And yet others, who have attacked me personally, (and I am not accusing you), are seen as loving Christians. It makes me very thankful that Jesus is doing the judging, and not the people in CC.
Now, as to your continuing use of such phrases as "round and round we go", it seems to me that this a contrived method of avoiding answering questions that you may not be able to answer in your favor. It seems to me, and this is just my opinion, that it is more divisive to continue to say, no matter what you say, you can't prove anything to me, we are just going around in circles, rather than just say, I have nothing else to offer to this discussion.
Now, I will be the first to admit that pride does get the better of me sometimes. And sometimes I can come off as arrogant. These are sins, and I need to repent of them. But I am not unloving and mean spirited. And, please examine yourself before you throw that first stone.

to be honest. this sickens me. if mary saw this, I am sure it would sicken her to. Thank God for her sake she is in heaven with her son and can;t see such stuff. so let me rephrase this prayer the way it should be said.
When I find my self in times trouble, God the Holy Spirit speaks to me words of wisdom
he strengthens me, and he comforts me.
And in my hour of darkness He is already in me reminding me of my place I have in heaven, and How God will never leave me nor forsake me, he reminds me of the hope I have in Christ.
Let it be be .

Whats wrong with pictering your self with mary and imagining mary saying let it be .
I thought it was a beautiful song and what wrong with cheering people up .

And when im feeling lonely he sends me words that confort me.
He tels me my mum is in heaven and she is watching over me.
I then feel better and I say mum thankyou for watching over me.
Help me through my hours of darkness
And comfort me

No God is. there is non righteous no not one.
No one is holy. it is God who makes us holy. we can not make ourselves holy. only God can. and only because of the forgiveness of sin based on his sons death.
keep trying to be holy.. you will still fall short of the glory of God and you can pray to mary all you want, you will still die in your sin.
