Can you qualify these claims with.."in a chat room" or "in the Internet" or "not in person"?

The Internet is the playground for alotta folks to play games.
Basing your cred on interaction with Internet people, in relation to "multiples" and "deliverance", well it's highly suspect.

You talk as if you sat down in person with these peeps.
From my understanding all of this was done online.
Am I incorrect?
You are incorrect, sir. I have had several of the multiples I first met on line (from Virginia to California) later in my home physically, for a visit and for counseling.

how many out of the 100s you dealt with online?
how many did you meet with later?

I thought it was Internet only because of statements like these..

My journey into what may sound like a fairyland began ten years ago when I met a Jewess from St. Louis in a chatroom on the Internet.
And guess who corrected it? Not some school dedicated to the study of abnormal psychology, but the multiples themselves, in a chatroom on MSN.com called A Lighthouse. It was a room for multiples only and it wasnít long before we had dozens.
I have now recorded about 8000 chat hours with multiples, including the awesome times when they merged. I now know what conditions cause MPD and have found a method of leading many to oneness.
It was done in private chats on the Internet and many of those chats are cited in this book.
Internet chats can be lengthy and very confusing (questions can be separated from answers by several lines) so every chat had to be edited for clarity. Sentence structures, spelling and punctuation were usually left unchanged unless it interfered with readability. Some chat quotes are actually compilations of several different chats, but all are accurate accounts of real events. Most transcripts are from my files, a couple are from memory and two are from phone calls.
The chats we chose to quote show various aspects of a multipleís inner world and the methods we used to help them. Most of the alters you will read about are now totally integrated, which means they no longer exist as individual entities.

Yes, and they came on their own dime, a multi from CA even came to see me three or four times. I was humbled and honored that the Lord allowed to minister to these people.

Yes, and every one of those statements is true. Brother, I am not in the fairytale business and never have been. After listening for a couple thousand hours you knew who was bogus and who wasn't, first by experience, but more importantly by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

"deliverance ministries" are in the seeing-and-chasing-devils-everywhere business.

they think everything is demon possession.

so if you suffered a hangnail and went to some of them, they'd say it was the demon cuticle or summink.

i recommend reading this and see if it sounds familiar:

How Deliverance Ministries Lead People to Bondage

A Warning Against the Warfare Worldview

Zone, Hold tightly to your dogmatic beliefs and ignore everything I said. Then you will never be wrong in your own estimation.

Zone you really should read some of the stuff you post. The article you posted by Bob Waay says this "According to the theory I taught, the “spiritual law” of the universe is such that passive wills get demonized, even if one is a Christian". So he is saying Christians can have a demon. The article is not saying what it you think it says. It is saying many in deliverance have a wrong world view and are focused on techniques and themselves. He teaches the way to deliver people is thru a "providential world view". Personally, I think he is nuts. If you want to know more about it, maybe you should actually read it yourself?

HE SAID HE TAUGHT IT WHEN HE WAS DUPED BY THE BOGUS WORLDVIEW.

he's trying to say he was once suckered by it...like too many around here.

he's trying to help with his testimony of PLAYING DELIVERANCE BIG SHOT.

chasing devils around the town...til he wised up.

read it many times, listened to the teachings x3...ALL OF THEM.

keep it...you like it, spin your wheels....you have no idea what you're really involved in - pagan shamanism, dishonoring God.

bye then

It would have to be a hard job . Their is a lady down the road from our house that seems to have this problem, mabye even worse. Every time I have taken her to church, the minute they would mention Jesus, she would leave. I have tried ministering
to her. She said when she reads the bible that spirits choke her, ect. She has had a hard life and was never taken to church

I hope you will pray that God leads her to the right person for help. God bless you for trying to help her. Her problems are probably for more complicated than the average pastor can deal with. Keep praying for her and sharing the gospel.

To give you some hope, I met a girl who was just as bad off. I chatted with her online. At first I had to type the name of Jesus as "J*sus because the demons in her recoiled at that name, every time. Her first trip to a church was a nightmare. They had a large cross at the front of the church which greatly annoyed her demons and she had to get up and leave. We got her to one of the best deliverance ministers and today she is in bible College with her husband and both plan on becoming ministers. So there is always hope and God hears our prayers.

I read the article. I did not waste my time on the hours of audio, life is too short. I did not see where he said he no longer believed a Christian could be demon possessed. I bet he still absolutely believes Christians can have a demon. The focus on that article was how wrong the warrior world view is and his world view (what he calls the providential world view) is right. He seems like a nutter to me.

No one has answered my simple question. If a demon possessed person becomes a Christian will the demons all leave because "the Holy Spirit can not dwell with demons"? Seems like many are quick to point out what they think is doctrinal error and yet they all remain silent about what is the correct way to liberate a soul from the demonic. I find that interesting.

There is a lot of garbage out there about helping demonized people that you need to avoid, but you might want to read "The Bondage Breaker" by Dr. Neil T. Anderson, available from Amazon.com. In my opinion that book should be on every Christians "must read" list. His is the best work on demonization that I know of. I have been using those same methods with great success for over 30 years.

Dr. Merrill T. Unger of Moody Bible Institute in, "What Demons can do to Saints," details many cases of demonized Christians told him by missionaries in many foreign fields. Dr. Paul G Cully, Dean of the School of Missions, Columbia Bible College, told me of a the many demonized Christians he ran into while a medical missionary in the Philippines. Then of course, Dr. Neil T. Anderson in "The Bondage Breaker" and its sequel, "Released From Bondage," gives many accounts of demonized Christians and a biblical method of leading those troubled people to freedom in Christ. And I personally have helped many demonized Christians to freedom in Jesus name amd in the power of His shed blood.

What I don't understand is the agenda of those who stand against helping brethren who are presently oppressed by evil spirits because of ancestral assignment, occult involvement, or sexual promiscuity committed prior to salvation. One just has to wonder whose side those naysayers are on.

Yes, That was the first book on deliverance I read. I also highly recomend it to anyone who wants to close the sin doors in their life. It is an excellent book.

Very true and very sad. They keep on saying that a christian cant be possessed. There is not one scripture in the Bible that says a Christian cant be possessed. Yet they point to scriptures about other topics and argue they apply to their cause. Yet not one of the naysayers has ever answered my question: "If a demon possessed person accepts Christ and gets the Holy Spirit in them, will the demons flee?"

Yet this is the logical outcome of their dogma and it is never once ever mentioned in scripture as a viable means of casting a demon out. We never see Jesus or the Apostles converting a demon possessed person as a way of freeing a person from the demonic. Not once! Instead we see in scripture that demons are cast out with the authority of God and some even require prayer and fasting before hand to remove them.

Does this mean that the 'guidance of the Holy Spirit' did not "kick in" until "a certain amount of experience" was first obtained? ;)

I would think that "possession" would have to stop (immediately). As for "oppression" - that is different.

Think of it this way:

'possession' occurs "from within" (from inside the body) - and the effect is total control of the person

'oppression' occurs "from without" (from outside the body) - and the effect is pressured influence on the person

make sense?

BTW - I believe that the absolute majority of what is discussed in this thread (from memory - without going back to re-read it all) falls under 'oppression' rather than 'possession'.

Also - I do not believe that "some alters are saved while some are lost" --- the fact is, if a person has a "fractured mind" and has "multiple personalities" -- they are still one person with one soul - having multiple personalities does not constitute a "split" 'salvation status'. I believe that it is very highly likely that this is a case of 'oppression' and not 'possession'.

:)

Gives one pause to ponder the 1 in 50 figure.
