At 26, I am still very much inexperienced in dating and relationships and everything related. Therefore, even the "simple" things are sort of a mystery to me. That being said, my question is this: if a guy compliments a girl, what could that mean?
In case more detail is needed, here is the situation that caused me to create this post. The other night at work, I was talking to a male co-worker that I hadn't seen in a while. We were making small talk along with a couple of our other co-workers, when the guy looks at me, smiles, and says, "I really like your new hair. It looks good on you." I cut my hair fairly short a while back, but we've worked together a few times since then and he knew it was short. The only thing new about it is the color is slightly different. Do guys pay that much attention to small details or is it more likely he forgot I cut it short? And is it common for guys to compliment girls on things like that or should I take that to mean something? Like I said, it's probably a dumb question, but I'm just really unsure and don't know how he might have meant it. I apologize if it's a dumb thing to ask. Thanks in advance for any advice/comments anyone might share.
