Ingredients:
1 head of broccoli
+- 150g diced bacon bits (I use a tub of bought bacon bits)
a handful of cheese cut into 1cm squares
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
5 tbsp mayo
Prepare the broccoli:
Break the broccoli into bit size pieces, I usually just break off the florrets.
Blanche the broccoli (This simply means putting it in a pot of water and bringing the water to a boil), it's ready when the broccoli turns bright green. When it is done, drain water off the broccoli.
Method:
Prepare the broccoli as explained above.
Fry the bacon bits.
Make the sauce by mixing the sugar, vinegar and mayo together.
Combine the sauce, bacon bits, broccoli and cheese cubes together.
Mix and enjoy.
