I made a frosting that was super sugary today.

1/2 cup of melted butter, 90mL (or 6 tbsp) milk, 1 tsp of vanilla. And a whole whack of icing sugar. 3 & 3/4 cups! I probably should have abandoned ship when half the container of icing sugar was gone and the frosting was still rather watery. :p

I used about 1/2 cup of the ~2.5 cups of icing it made. Nice thin layer on the cake, can't have too much of that!! Lol

Buuuuut I realize we'll probably get sued if we call out the cookbooks that failed us. :D

In the olden days when I was young and not diabetic, runny frosting was a good excuse to bring out a box of crackers and use the frosting as a dip.
