Hiya folks
This recipe is generic. by that i mean you can interchange the ingredients and tastes.
First of all you need some core ingredients. i like:
garlic
onion(s)
root ginger
Rice
--------------------------------------------------------------------
These ingredients should be experimented with----
protein- i like chickpeas (any pulses really) meat if you like as long as its cut up small or cooked beforehand.
some vegetable (s) i like broccoli for example.
Seeds are good to add... i like pumpkin and sunflower seeds. add seeds to the food early on so that they toast a bit. it adds to the texture/ flavour
Olives are good
thai fish sauce is good for an oriental version
sweet chilli sauce is good
can add dark soy sauce for taste
if adding curry powder or paste you can finish the dish with a handful of bombay mix (or similar)
i would cook in a wok and add cooked rice to bulk the dish out.
serve in a bowl
