Serves 8+

1cup sugar
1cup soy sauce
Minced ginger or powdered
Minced garlic or garlic powder
1Tbs sesame oil (or veg oil, olive oil)
3tsp Red Wine Vinegar
Salt and pepper
Dip a finger in to taste and adjust as needed.
Some say a cup of sugar is too sweet. So play with the measurements to suit your taste buds. (I use 1cup soy to 3/4cup sugar)

Set oven to 350°. Mix ingredients and pour over boneless skinless chicken thighs or breast. Turn meat over about halfway thru cooking time. 25mins or so.

Also a great marinade for beef.

Its amazing over rice. Just chop and add scallions before serving.

The teriyaki sauce freezes very well.

Looks yummy, thanks!

I think I'll use the low sodium soy sauce and use maybe dates as the sweetener or use maple syrup or honey.
