Ecclesiastes 7:16-18
Your work, calibob and Magenta, utilizing the words of Solomon to me to more in Ecclesiastes ...

To every thing there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time of war, and a time of peace.

Thank you guys for pointing me back to his word and His balance.

I love Ecclesiastes. It's extremely edifying but I try not to read it too often. It can definitely bring one down and have a very depressing effect if I'm not careful.

This is so awesome if someone wants to watch, they are really profoundly connecting Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Book of Job. It helped me look at Ecclesiastes with more hope and peace. And they are narrating it simply and with beautiful animation.

Of course that it is ok. That video means a lot to me because it gave me some really deep answers about life and suffering and what should our attitude be! The book of Job doesn't make it too clear. I've always assumed that since Job stuck to faith in God, even though he felt bitter and didn't understand why were things happening, that we could count on God to somehow "fix it" in the end. I mean if it doesn't happen in this life, God definitely wipes our tears in the next. That's how I've always taken it. But that was not the actual message of the book of Job. It is so much more profound. And their whole channel is pretty good, one of the best I've ran into. They are also really excelling at explaining complex concepts in a simple way such as "The image of God" and so on!
