I noticed this a few years ago, and you reminded me: the secret of inheritance is, that God inherits us, and we inherit Him. God is love. There's nothing to gain, nothing left to be had except one another. This is the "All in all"; the rest is in the world, and to be destroyed.
Levites were set apart and their "inheritance was the LORD", in New testament we are all made priests through the Chief Priest Jesus and set apart from the world. And Jesus is "the rod of inheritance" and He receives not only Israel but also the heathen for inheritance (Psa 2)... all people.
