I am glad you enjoyed it so much! He is a wonderful lyricist and singer, and yeah, his sense of humor is so self effacing... quite droll and charming He is also a strong Christian, and pulled away from the star-maker machinery (as Joni Mitchell put it in her "Free Man In Paris" song) which courted him after his Idol run. In fact, that is essentially what he is singing about in the first video posted by Vashweb He rejected the glitz and glam and temptations of that lifestyle to focus on his Christian music instead
