Raised as a Christian. No specific moment but became more invested in my faith during my early teenage years.

Favorite Bible Verse
And I will put this third into the fire, refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, “They are my people”; and they will say, “The Lord is our God.” (Zechariah 13:9). For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; you laid burdens on our backs; you let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a spacious place. (Psalm 66:10-12). And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you. (1 Peter 5:10).

I believe that the Bible isn't strictly about Law and it isn't just about Grace. God's Word is about the Promises of God. Both His Law and His Grace are part and parcel of His Promises.
I'm a firm believer in the biblical creation model, not theistic evolution or any of its variants.
WORDS TO LIVE BY
"Foster a child's imagination so they may never lose their child-like wonder of the world."
"The God of the Old Testament is like the journey from stern father to friend. When you're a child, you need clear directions and some strict rules. But with Christ, we have access in a one-to-one relationship, for, as in the Old Testament, it was more one of worship and awe, a vertical relationship. The New Testament, on the other hand, we look across at a Jesus who looks familiar, horizontal. The combination is what makes the Cross."
'The gospel is the news that devastates but ultimately elevates.'
