It's amazing to think that such death has a Purpose within the Plan of God.

I believe that climate change is human induced, but not for the reasons constantly trotted out by supposed experts. The reason is spiritual. God shows his displeasure through weather. Human stupidity is a major contributor.

God created an ecosystem that functions perfectly. It is called the Carbon cycle, which I studied at school. Climate balance is ensured by flora absorbing CO2 (it NOT carbon, any more than water is hydrogen) and converting CO2 to cellular growth. If we rid the planet of forests, which are major CO2 converters, less is removed from the atmosphere. God sends drought to wake up sinners (and backslidden saints) to the fact that God is displeased. Drought magnifies the problem. Little cloud cover increases the sun on the ground, raising air temperatures. Low rainfall inhibits growth and reduces ground cover. A nasty cycle that can be catastrophic. Since everything dries out, fire is a big problem.

The human contribution is not just through industry. New suburbs in Australian cities are pretty much devoid of trees. The difference between treed suburbs and new suburbs is measurable and substantial. Most new homes are cookie cutter designs with black roofs. Just what you don't need when summers can be scorching already.

The earth has a use by date. We don't know what that is, but it seems to be not far off.

His plan to redeem mankind and His creation back to him after the fall in Genesis is continuing, His original plan was never to destroy but to have an abundant, prosperous world, sin messed it up.

So . . . we're worshipping a weak God who cannot uphold His original Plan? Not a chance. And if it is True, then I think it would be best to find a more Powerful God who has a Plan and keeps it.

Show us a passage that discusses His "original" plan.

you miss the mark again. Are you a teenager?
He gave mankind dominion, we dropped the ball through Sin.
Perhaps you should start a Genesis 1.

There is an Eternal, pre-written Plan that is so detailed, it reads of falcons and owls to the very days of the lives.

Isaiah 34:14-17 NIV - "Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also lie down and find for themselves places of rest. The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate. Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together. He allots their portions; his hand distributes them by measure. They will possess it forever and dwell there from generation to generation."

I don't know how anyone can read that Biblical text (any translation will do) and believe that God once had a Plan that failed. If the Lord can arrange each moment of the lives of falcons and owls, how absurd it is to believe that God once had a Plan that failed. No way . . . I would have no desire to believe in that kind of a god. The Christian God, however, is in control of all things, and that is good because if I remained under my old power, I'd still be the horrible person I used to be. But now, controlled by the Holy Spirit, I am more and more being relieved of the pains of sin. Thank God that He controls His Children through the Work of Christ and the Sanctifying Gift of the Holy Spirit. Without help from the Heavenly Realms, I would have had no chance to ever, ever be Right with God.

again, start with Genesis one.
Sin was not His plan.
Are you a preteen perhaps?

you sound VERY young in faith to be asking the questions you are asking.
We are required to become mature, just as Jesus modeled for us.
best wishes

Ok, well since you have judged me to be young in the faith, this small child is telling you, the mature one, that it is very immature to tell someone that they are immature, and you then leave them. How utterly childish.

But thanks for your put-downs! Perhaps there is some kind of reward in heaven for such fodder. :)

And you continue to discourage "young believers" with your ultra-rude red x.

When, Lord? When will you give them a New Heart and a New Spirit so that they might think clearly?

Ezekiel 36:25-27 KJV - "Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

Since you cannot prevent or control yourself from being cruel, just stop writing to me. Thank you.

God's plan is God's plan, since the fall in Genesis 1 he has proceeded with His plan to redeem mankind and His creation to Him. He is sovereign. He chooses His plan and He has chosen the plan as He saw fit.
Please do block me. thank you
