Can anyone shed light on this??!!!!

Countless studies have made it clear some people are born (or subsequently become this way after brain injuries) without the ability to empathize (sociopaths) with others and thus feel no remorse. Psychopaths meanwhile take pleasure in seeing others suffer and exhibit other antisocial behaviors. Why would God create people who simply could not follow his moral code? Did he create especially so they would go to hell?

I have just been introduced recently to the horrifyingly disturbing world of the sociopath. They have no conscience!! Is there a biblical explanation for these people??????

I'm having such a hard time wrapping my head aroud the idea of the sociopath and God.

don't know what the english term really is, but Inherited sin perhaps? the idea that because Adam and Eve sinned, we are all affected by the punishment (not beeing in Eden, having to struggle to survive etc) which leads to disease, pain and (I guess): mental illness

Only way I can explain these people given my belief in God is that they are born without a soul..... that God allows these people to exist as demon .... people..... I know that sounds crazy but is there ANY other explanation for sociopaths (people born with zero conscience)!!!????!?!?!??!?!?!??

It does explain some of the false evangelists that use Christianity for personal gain.... never understood how people knowing so much about God and the bible could use God for money until I learned about sociopaths.

Hello...I was reading your post and heard the Holy Spirit give the following word.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2Ti 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

I was also reminded of a question I asked the Holy Father as a new baby many yrs ago: Lord there seems to be so much to do and all at the same time, can you and will you simplify this for me? He responded, yes...the very best you can do, is be responsible for what you think in Christ, say in Christ and/or do in Christ and in response to others, captivating every thought unto Christ. Notice the word "respons ibility." We have the ability to respond.

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I don't know what your experience is but someone very close to me has become way. I watched it happen over a period of 2 years. Noone starts out with a hard heart and that's what this is. My friend had a very soft and loving heart. But he started having memories of a trauma that occurred in his childhood. Each time the Lord asked him to give Him the pain about the memory- my friend ran from God. He thought that facing the pain was too difficult. He knew at the time that he was being disobedient. And his once soft and beautiful heart got harder and harder and harder. He is a totally different person now. When people run from the Lord - they run right to the enemy of our souls.

As you continue to study you will learn that there are many with this condition. But few ever act opon it and live good, normal lives. The question should be why do some choose to act apon it or why do they? Hang in there ,still lots to learn. Smiles and God bless, pickles

I'm not talking about someone that had a good heart and is turning his/her back on God.... I'm talking about the roughly 4% of our society that has NO conscience.

These people make up the serial killers, the tyrants, the necrophiliacs, the child rapists etc etc..... they also make up more benign members of society such as cut throat CEO's, some politicians, some actors/ actresses and many other members of society that don't necessarily kill or physically hurt people but ..... also don't have a conscience.... and never did.

I have read quite a few books on this topic recently.... "The sociopath next door".... "People of the Lie".... "without conscience" ..... and a few other books.

The explanations are : boils down to 4 really

-genetics- genes that carry the no conscience are passed along

-childhood trauma - (although studies have shown that some sociopaths come from good homes with no trauma)

-lack of development of the brain (like mental retardation in a sense)

-EVIL (and this is my motivation for posting..... the things these people do is.... well..... just plain evil even if it is more benign....... the fact of the matter is they ALL lie pathologically)

I think that scripture in Timothy 2:20 may well sum it up biblically..... thank you for that.

also someone mentioned to me familiar (family) spirits....... anyone shed any light on that??
