a 'crappy'' look on life equals opto-rectitus which equals
crossing the 'eye' nerve with the 'but-t' nerve...
oh no, opto-recitius!!!
this condition should make anyone desire to 'change their outlook on life,
but, this is mostly not the case in today's world...

To a person with skunk oil on his upper lip, the whole world stinks.

Such people can be contagious and should be avoided.

Filipinos have an interjection "Naku!,'' Ay, naku! or 'Naku po).' I understand it to be the shortened form of My mother (Ina or Inay ko) or My child (Anak ko). Could mean Oh dear, Oh my, Yikes.. often to express annoyance or resignation, but also surprise or excitement as when presenting something novel or different. The expression with the po shows respect, as when used with the elderly=).
