hey there...... i am thinking of getting my self a laptop.

i really wanted one with wins XP but would be hard to find on a laptop these days

i have heard there is a win 7 thats out now ... but i have no idea how well it works ( have not even had the chance to try it out) so any ideas?

and yes when i get my own laptop i will get a real working web cam

I think Windows 7 is becoming usable, but I haven't tried it myself. - As long as you stay clear of Vista you'll probably be OK :p

I'd recommend getting Linux after a while,, if you can find a version that suits what you use your computer for :)

Walmart usually still sells laptops with Windows XP on them.

window 7 is really good actually but yea a linux fan my self.

i have had vista for 3 years now and have had zero problems with it. In fact the only issue i ever had was trying to upgrade to windows 7...so i said forget it and went back to vista

you can buy the new one which has win 7 on it and then install xp on it . :D

thats what most people are doing .

in that case, you still have the new hardware and everything with the awesomeness of win xp woohoo! :D

Windows 7 is nice! It runs like XP but has alot more perks to it and is as visually exciting as vista as well.I have to fix XP errors everyday at work and we are switching to windows 7 this week. There is so much more you can do with Windows 7 :)
