I wear glasses....even have two pair, one for close up and one for distance. I didn't do this cuz I am vain and don't want to wear bifocals, I did this cuz I was born with paralysed muscles in my eyes, that do not allow me to look up. When I try to look up, my eyes go crossed, especially the left one. I compensate for this with a little tilt to the side with my head. I don't think most people notice much anymore, although I have always been a bit....paranoid?? that they can/do. Used to be I got a lot of mean jokes directed at me because of this problem; growing up with it was HARD until I did learn how to tilt my head to where it isn't as noticable. I can and do still get a "wild" eyed" look every once in a while if surprised by something, or if I need to look quick at something, but all in all, I think it has made me a stronger person to have to live with it.
