Sometime during the first week of July --- I expect to be homeless...

I am unable to pay the rent and the bills... :(

I have been unable to secure good employment...

My work-related qualification does not seem to be enough...

Almost every "good job" I have ever had in my life has been in Dallas, TX.

"I think I may go back there to try to get out of this 'ditch' that I have been in ever since I last left there..."

("However, I would consider going almost anywhere else if the job situation was right...") ;)

For the record - I have enjoyed the friendship and fellowship that I have found here on Christian Chat. Some of you probably don't realize the extent of the significance and meaning of what you have added to my life...

I don't know exactly how all of this is going to go - only the Lord knows that -- so, I may soon "drop off the radar" - at least for a while...

'Thank You' for every bit of kindness and patience... :)

I do believe that God will somehow take care of me -- He always has...

I am not 'worried' for fear of the unknown -- I have been there before...

I just don't know what I will have to go through before I can get completely out of the 'ditch' (which I have been in for six years) and into a 'stable' situation... (which I have not experienced in six years)

It is "wearing me down" and "wearing me out" --- and, indeed - I am very weary...

I just want to get what-ever / when-ever / where-ever / who-ever / why-ever / how-ever God is trying to get me to...

"By perseverance, the snail reached the ark."- Charles Spurgeon

You are absolutely right - God always provides exactly what we need and when we need it. No matter the outcome, He will always carry out His will in your life, so long as you keep your eyes on Him. May God bless you and give you strength <3

Sorry to hear about your troubles man. I will be praying that God will provide for you. I'm going through a tough situation myself but for different reasons. Just stay strong and stay close to God and somehow, someway everything will eventually work itself out. I wish you the best and I sincerely mean that. Hang in there brother and God bless you.

If you're very weary... Have you ever asked help from online prayer teams?

If there're many people praying for you, God should soften for you and act faster... Because He's a softie...

In this hard time of mine, I have had harder periods (ghost visits, the evil spirits that had come out of me wouldn't leave), when I asked a prayer team to help me, and they helped me a lot. ♥

PS If you want to find a prayer team to help you, those web-sites that make you feel good, where you sense love (you know, the divine love), they may help you better... It's like finding a beloved church, I think...

God truly does go before you to prepare the way. My guy and I got mixed up with a scam artist who had put us up in a motel during the middle of the winter. He gave us 20 dollars a day to survive on. That guy still owes him a hundred grand that he will NEVER see for computer pc work. It got to the point that we had no vehicle, no money, no anything. A big bag of M & M's was a luxury to us let me tell ya. It got to the point to where the guy ran. The owner of the motel didn't really know us at all but he put us up in a motel in reno and gave us buckets of change to live off of and gave us a car to drive that we made payments on. We ended up running his motel for him for two years without having to pay any rent or any bills. God DOES provide for his children. When you are rich in the spirit of Christ you are just about one of the richest people in the world but also humble because our King makes you that way. I have prayed for you. Have no fear, God is always near ;) Blessings to ya brother

Gary--I don't know if you can even see this anymore...I had been praying for you, based on another thread.

When our kids were little, we moved into a rental house. The owner didn't bother to tell us he was being foreclosed on. We had a newborn, a toddler, etc...
We looked and looked, but could NOT find a new place. The police eventually came to let us know we had 72 hrs. to be out. That was a dreary day, and I know the officers felt terrible about it when they realized we hadn't defaulted on the payments.

Bottom line--we signed a lease on a house 8 hours before we had to legally be out of the house we were living in.
Eight hours to move 8 people's worth of stuff. It seems surreal as I look back. And I know you know this, but...
God tends to be an eleventh hour God, or, in your case and ours, 11th hour and 59 minutes. :)
It's dreadful to go through, but I pray the Lord will give you an awesome testimony to share with us when you come back, and will build your faith even more.
Please, do come back!! :)
I also am going to ask Him to allow you to know why He's sent you to Dallas. Don't know why I feel to ask that...maybe it'll be part of that testimony?

in Christian love

Well --- I am in Dallas.

And, Lord willing - I am back on CC. [ Fair warning! :D ]

It may be "hit and miss" on days/times - but, hopefully I will be able to find my way on here at least somewhat regularly...

I am not [actually] back on my feet, yet (far from it) - and,
my daily life is still on a roller-coaster, but - I am off the street - staying with a friend - for now.

I am looking for a job - hopefully a good one...
