I'm so grateful that we live in a society in which people are hired to go out and fix vital services like electricity when it goes out! Which ours did this morning when the thermometer outside read 4 above! Our heater is running again! Bless the folks who got everything working again!!!!!

Amen!

Couple years ago a fierce storm came through these parts and played Big Noise From Winetka on the power lines. We were out of power for eight days.

When I heard them up on the roof fixing the power line to our house I poked my head out and said, "That scratching on the roof sounds better than Santy Claus!"
