In The Morning I Lay My Requests Before You
And Wait Expectantly,

I don't know if there is any significance to doing that in the
morning; perhaps it was typical for the psalmist. Any time
of the day is a good time for prayer. Personally I do it first
thing in the morning before my mind has time to get busy
and cluttered from the issues of the day. So I am mostly
receptive first thing in the morning. That doesn't mean it is
the only time I ever pray. Prayer however, is a very relevant
part of our Christian lives. I never sit and wait expectantly,
rather I trust God He will answer it in His time. It is His will
and not ours be done. We need to keep in mind that He is
our Lord and He knows all while we just know what's in our
little world. That is why we ask God rather than demand Him.
The most beautiful part of these few verses is that the author
is really in tune and respectful of God. It reminds us also that
we need to have faith and trust. I don't know why God does
not respond immediately but I do know He will.
