I wasn't quite sure which form to post it is so I chose miscellaneous.
This is based on my own observations in the charismatic movement.

How to be a preache in the charismatic movement.
The first thing you want to remember to do is to yell a lot. This keeps the congregation's attention. Second thing is to do that annoying sing talkin thing with your voice,
This will make the congregation think you're saying something profound when you're really not.
The next thing you want to do is to make a few shotgun prophecies. Make sure to keep them as vague as possible so they can literally apply to anyone in the room. Say things like.. there's something you've been struggling with and tonight is your night to receive your deliverance. Or say something like somebody here has been asking God for something and tonight is your night to receive it. This will make every person in the congregation think you are specifically talking to him or her.

Next you want to say two or three catch phrases like ain't got all right or won't he do it. Make sure to jump, and dance around for emphases. Next read a few scriptures from the Bible. Now come up with a few clever metaphors about the scriptures you just read. Continue yelling and doing the thing song voice thing. Once you have worked the crowd into a frenzy, it doesn't really matter what you talk about. Continue doing this for 45 minutes to an hour. Now collect the offering

Am Pentecostal, but have attended many services in the Catholic charismatic meetings.

I can agree with you that in Pentecost, you may find what you just described but only in certain movements.

I saw more of the phony in services preaching against sin and offering salvation only. Repent and be saved is what I am referring to.

But, today? What is real is when Holy Spirit shows up. It doesn’t take anything like you have addressed, just true worship...in Spirit, in truth.

Dude, I too am a Pentecostal. The charismatic movement is not a fraud.
Are there frauds in the charismatic movement? Sure, but that doesn't mean the whole movement is fraudulent.
I have seen and been part of many events where the Holy Spirit did His work.
I urge you to reconsider labeling the whole charismatic movement as fraudulent. It isn't!

Yeah I've seen these types of preachers every now and then they would be guest speakers at the church I used to attend. They would have the whole congregation yelling amen. I'm sitting in my seat saying...amen what?
You've been up there yelling for 45 minutes and haven't said anything yet.

There was a guy from California who used to come to our church a couple times a year. Everyone thought he was the best thing since sliced bread but I knew you the first time I ever saw him preach that he was a charlatan.
I remember one night he said.....
I know you can't buy prophecy, but when someone's Souls into you in the spiritual Realm you have an obligation to respond in the Physical Realm.
So that was just a slick way of saying give me your money.
He was also good at doing the shotgun prophecies I mentioned earlier
