I was talking with a friend, and she told me, "let me tell you what i heard tonight Sue".
So of course I was like sure, and listened to what she had to say, and here's what she told me.
"tonight, i took my ipod with me and listened to gospel music and while i was listening, something said to me "I'm still with you. I'll be with you until the end." and it kind of scared me. But I know it was God.
So I asked her if she knew it was God, then why did it scare her? so she told me "because, when something/someone just "speaks" to you, and you hear it... and you KNOW it's not part of the song, wouldn't that scare you?
She said to me, "here's the thing, thats why i was scared....... I don't even LIVE for God. yet he still talks to me. which is beyond my amazement.
At that point I wasn't sure what to say, I suppose I would have to be in that situation to know for sure. So anyways, I just reminded her.
"Well here's the thing, we get away from God, God doesn't get/go away from us, we distant and reserve ourselves from Him, He doesn't do that to us....when that happens, God will speak to you in some way. that can mean speaking to you in and "audible'' voice or however HE chooses. to get you back on track, and remind you that indeed, He will never leave nor forsake you."
This conversation just made me think, how many on here either need this reminder, or know someone that does? So this is just a reminder, and to help encourage everyone!
