With me it's country all the way. Especially the old, old country. Or maybe I should call it Traditional country. Marty Robbins, Hank Williams for example.
I just got a collector's set by Johnny Western callled "Heros and Cowboys" It has the ballad of Pallidin and the theme from the Searchers on it.
It's music I grew up with. I know it's not Christian music, which I listen to in my car on the local Christian station, but I can't help myself from thinking it's awesome.

For the most part, I grew up listening to gospel, country, and light rock. My cousin was into early CCM artists like Mylon LeFevre, while my mother was (and still is) a devout Amy Grant fan.

As for myself, here's just a few of my faves from various genres: Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Chris Daughtry, Randy Travis, the Backstreet Boys, 3 Doors Down, Rascal Flatts, and Taylor Swift. I also enjoy oldies music at times, depending on the artist.

I also am a moderate fan of Michael Jackson's music (and before anyone asks, no I don't think he's guilty).
