I just saw the post about the red heifer in Israel. This reminded me of something I wanted to write a post about. Throughout scripture, psychology, health, business even theoretical physics the power of faith is not a factor, but rather the author of the outcome. Believing something doesn’t only change the steps one takes but has proven to alter physical reality in the body, the laboratory and Christ’ ministry. I always found it odd that Christ was unable to heal in his home town because their faith was weak. Even in the New Testament Paul explains sin is not black and white, regarding eating of meat sacrificed to idols. This led me to ponder whether it is the sin that damns us or whether it is the guilt of the sin that damns us. Also regarding sacrifice, is it the act that relinquishes sin or the belief that it does, absolving guilt? Is it the act of things we do, or are our minds more powerful then understood and placebo is more of a game changer because faith of medicine is more effective sometimes than the chemical reactions is performs? Physicists are baffled when researching particle theory that electrons are effected heavily by what the observers think will happen. This contributes to them questioning the singularity of the universe, that everything is connected. Also this gives credence to the mysticism of “oneness”. In the social experiment conducted by a school teacher, “The Eye of the Storm”, the childrens’ behaviour and aptitude was heavily influenced on the colour of their eyes.

Time and time again it is demonstrated that belief/faith is the determiner of event. Now, the question; is it a red heifer sacrificed that will bring about the return of Christ, or the BELIEF that the red heifer sacrificed will hasten the return of Christ? Is our eternal fate sealed by a crucified Messiah, or FAITH that our sins are forgiven? Is the Spirit able to transform us without our complete belief that it’s possible? This is a huge question that needs to be answered because those who think they are sinners...continue to sin. Those who accept they are new creatures, dead to the flesh, are unresponsive to its desires. Just a few thoughts I wanted to share. Be blessed!
