There is much power in His love for us, He brings
us love and peace. It is the most difficult thing in
life to do is to resist retaliating. But if we go back
in history of Christianity, the earliest Christians
suffered all manner of abuse, degradation and
even death. The evidence is still there outside
the walls of Rome. The dug tunnels in the ground
and lived and preached there and survived there.
They were persecuted to the worst degree that
anyone could imagine. They would take all sorts
of steps to come and go from those places so they
wouldn't be discovered. So I wonder if Christianity
would have existed now without their sacrifice. I
wonder if we could make that sacrifice now, and I
wonder If I could make that sacrifice now.
