Matt 5:
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

(NOTE: ""ALL"" will not be fulfilled until after the White Throne judgement)

HOWEVER, for the believer, the administration of the righteousness by works has changed.

Scripture is clear, the Mosaic laws were given to the: house of Jacob/children of Israel Ex 19:1-3.

God gives Moses the commandments for a specific called out people = The Nation of Israel. Ex 20:1-17.

The Mosaic law demanded righteousness via works, Deut 28:15-68

Knowing flesh & blood man can't live sinlessly. God establishes the priestly sin sacrificial system.

Animal sacrifice only covered sin & could/did not forgive/pardon sin (Heb 10:4). Nor bring reconciliation between God & the sinner. Nor did they clean or purify the conscience of sins guilt.

The administration of the Mosaic law covenant changes. At the resurrection of Jesus the Christ

Matt 27:50 Jesus dies, verse 51 behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
(NOTE: Old sin sacrificial system ended right here)

The resurrection is God's receipt, Christ's redemptive sin atoning sacrifice was accepted.

Jesus who lives forever is our great High Priest after the order of Melchisedec Heb 5-6-7. By one sin offering he has perfected the believer forever Heb 10:14. And interceedes/advocates on our behalf (Heb 7:25, 4:16, 5:9, 6:19-20).

His sinless shed blood purges us, from dead works Heb 9:14).

Post resurrection Christ's sin redemptive sacrifice NOW includes ANYONE that comes to him & trusts/believes on him.

Believers sins are imputed onto Christ Rom 4:3,6,8,11,23,24, washed away Rev 1:5, removed as far as east is from west Ps 103:12.

Righteousness without the law has been obtained thur the "FAITH OF CHRIST" Rom 3:22, Gal 2:16, Gal 2:20

Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
(NOTE: By One Man's OBEDIENCE, now ours)

Christ's FAITHFUL, OBEDIENT, SINLESS, FINISHED redemptive work is what changes how the law is administered to a believer.

When we place our faith in Christ's faithful, obedient, finished sin redemptive payment. We receive forgiveness of sin, are reconciled to God & we're given eternal life.

He willingly suffered our due judgment. Christ who knew no sin, became sin 2 Cor 5:21 & when we place our faith in his finished redemptive work. We become the righteousness of God in/thru him 2 Cor 5:21.

Grace supplies righteousness thru faith.

Not only is Christ our advocate he is out final judge

Verdict: NOT GUILTY - FULL PARDON
