I used to work as a mailman for a large corporation. One day, as I was delivering mail, I came across a poster displayed on a Christian co-worker’s desk, a scene of Jesus' return, the Rapture of the Church. The artist had depicted cars crashing, planes falling out of the sky, and a swarm of people rising to meet Jesus in the air. As I admired the poster, God spoke to me and said, "How foolish!"
"What do you mean, Lord?" I asked.
The Lord replied, "Look. Your company rents four out of the twelve floors in this building. You have over 300 people on your mailing list. If three people disappeared in one day, do you think anyone would notice?"
I thought, “Hardly not.” We often lost or gained up to 12 people in one week. Some left, others were transferred, fired, or hired and this turnaround happened all the time. Employees rarely noticed or cared.
"Listen!" the Lord continued, "It isn't enough to be Born Again. One must live right. Search the Scriptures and see if these things are not so. Paul prayed that God would sanctify the born-again believers’ spirits, souls and bodies that they may be kept blameless at Jesus' appearing. (I Thessalonians 5:23.) This means that you can fail to be found blameless when I appear. Paul also speaks of keeping yourself abiding in Christ so you will not be ashamed at my return. (I John 2:28.) You can be left behind. Truly I say unto you, when I return, so few will be caught up it will barely make a blip on the missing persons’ statistics. Let me show you how it will really be..."
(God was expressing the idea that if Paul tells us to pray for something, it suggests that it may not happen automatically. He didn’t tell us to pray for those things that were guaranteed to us through our salvation. But as Jesus said to the church in Revelations, ”Hold fast that which you have,” and Paul says, “Let no man take your crown,” the idea being that we have to possess it, keep it, hold onto it, for it can be stolen away. Paul also warns us that we will be judged for the things we have done in the flesh so believers need to consider this and live accordingly.
Who seeks to take that which Christ has given us? Satan does, for he comes to steal the Word of God right out of our heart. If Satan could not steal the Word, Jesus would not have told us to “hold fast” and to fight against Satan’s attempt to do so. This Word tells us then that one can fail to keep what God has given him, and for this reason, we need to be mindful and alert to the wiles of our enemy. If we don’t pray to be found blameless, we can be smeared with blame on that day, like soil spots on our clothing, dirt on our faces or stains on our hands…
Rejecting God’s Word and living like the devil will soil your beautiful robes. False witness and gossip against your brother will put dirt on your faces. Pride of life and ignoring the needs of others will stain your hands. One cannot accept salvation from the Lord and then decide he is going to live the way he wants to. Salvation is to be honored, appreciated, and guarded. It cost the Savior everything to give it, we must not treat it so lightly…
Some people think they are going into Heaven regardless of how they live. But as Ms. Elsie used to say, “God made me to know it ain’t so, you best be found living right when He comes.” Remember the parable of the Servant who was found eating, drinking and beating his fellow servant when his Master returned from a journey? He was cast into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Well, he was a servant of God but he did not live right.)
Immediately, the vision was opened: I saw a super highway, four lanes on one side and four lanes on the other. Cars were moving along bumper-to-bumper, clocking 70 miles an hour. This was obviously rush hour for the lanes were packed. Suddenly, one little white Toyota pulled over to the side of the road. The driver engaged his parking brake and got out of his car.
Then, without warning, he was caught up in the air. The traffic continued to rush by bumper-to-bumper. No one noticed and no one stopped. The little Toyota sat by the road, abandoned, the driver door open and the engine running, until it ran out of gas. Out of that enormous flow of humanity, I saw one man taken up.
Then I saw my church. It was filled to capacity with familiar faces. The pastor stood to deliver his Sunday message. He opened with the words of Jesus that warn: “if it were possible, the antichrists and false prophets would deceive the very elect with signs and wonders” (Matthew 24:24). He continued by saying that the appearing of Jesus (which had just occurred that very week) was one of those false signs and wonders.
He went on to say, "We KNOW we (this church) are right with God! We KNOW that if that had been the REAL Rapture, WE would have gone! So we KNOW these are the false signs and wonders the Bible speaks of, delivered by Antichrist, to deceive the elect! This was a false Rapture! Those that are missing from our midst were false prophets! They were the ones, if you will recall, that were always causing trouble in the church! Ignore this false wonder, and let the church get back to doing God's Work!"
(Doesn't scripture say, beware you that THINK you stand, lest you fall? There is a great deal in the Bible about people being so full of religious pride they have fallen from God's Grace. Read: Romans 12:3, I Corinthians 4:6, I Corinthians 10:12-14.)
Yet many in the congregation were not convinced. They sat there wringing their hands and fretting, filled with fear that the Tribulation was upon them, and that they would have to face the wrath of the Antichrist. Others in the congregation applauded the preacher but the vast majority just didn't seem to care or understand what was going on. They seemed to be complacently unmoved by the whole thing. They just didn't care.
Then I saw myself. I was very old, in my eighties or nineties. God said many things in this part of the vision were symbolic, not to be taken literally. Nothing in this vision should be construed as a revealing of WHEN the Rapture will take place. Such information has been deliberately hidden and no man knows the day or hour (Christ does not even know the day or hour, He said so), only God the Father. The details concerning the Rapture are to be taken literally, but the timing is God’s.
In this vision of myself, I was in a wooded glade, very green, almost jungle in appearance. I noticed a very small stream bubbling by. I was rather overweight, apparently over 90 years of age (I was 25 years old when I had the vision), and my hair was snow white. I was dressed in a casual striped white knit shirt, and off-white khakis. I became aware that I was on an island due east of the continent of Africa.
I turned around, and climbed a small hill. The top of the hill was the backyard to a house. I went into the front yard. There was a dirt road leading up to the house, and about four to five miles away on another hill sat another house. Everything else was thick forest, almost mountainous terrain. In the front yard stood four people. These included a sixty-five year old woman whom I knew to be my wife, a twenty-five year old real estate agent wearing a short sleeve shirt and tie, who was there to sell the house, and another couple in their late thirties, dressed for business, who wanted to buy the house.
Although I had already agreed to buy the house, no paperwork had been signed and this man was contesting the agreement, offering a higher bid, and insisting that he should have the house. The real estate agent, a Christian, was politely informing him that the deal had been first come, first serve, and since I had already committed myself, thus beginning the process, he was obligated to sell the house to me. The other man was very angry.
God told me these details were SYMBOLIC, not literal. But, what happened next is a LITERAL revelation of the Rapture:
While the two men were discussing the situation, my wife, the Christian realtor and I suddenly became aware - this was it! The Rapture was taking place, right here, right now. Some type of announcement just went off in our spirits, and we knew. I heard a voice in my spirit say, "Five minutes and counting. Four minutes and fifty-nine seconds. Four minutes and fifty-eight seconds…" The voice counted off every second of the vision.
You will know when it comes. You will have a five-minute warning. Pilots will call in the co-pilot. Drivers will pull over to the side of the road. Surgeons in operating rooms will call in another surgeon. There will NOT be chaos and confusion, auto and plane wrecks. The Devil causes calamities, not God! God is NOT the author of pain, suffering and confusion! He will not allow it!
The business couple that wanted to buy the house were not saved and so they were completely unaware. In fact, the man continued to argue with the realtor. The rest of us just looked at each other with surprise, our eyes wide with that “did you hear that?” _expression. When we saw that look, we each knew the others knew! We knew we were not imagining what we had heard!
I turned to the man and said, "Do you want the house? Here, take it, it's yours! You can have my wallet, my car keys, my Bible, everything I own." I dug into my pockets and handed over my wallet, keys, and real estate paperwork to the man. "You can have my clothes, and all my money, too," I said. "Jesus is about to appear. We are going up in what the church calls, 'The Rapture.' You can come too, if you like." And I began to preach to them that they needed to believe on Jesus and get saved, RIGHT NOW!
The man grew angry, but his wife said, "Let's listen to what they have to say..." The man pushed his wife into the passenger side of the car, slammed the door, got behind the wheel and drove off with his tires spinning. We three remaining and waiting just looked at each other. I continued to hear the voice, "Three minutes and fifty-seven seconds. Three minutes and fifty-six seconds. Three minutes and..."
I looked at my reflection in the bay window of the house. My reflection was now different. All I can say is, I was suddenly filled with faith I didn't know was possible. There was no pain, no sorrow, no doubt and no weakness. This must be the way God feels. I looked at my reflection in the window the third time. My skin appeared as glass, and I was filled with liquid white fire. My companions looked the same way.
No wonder the Bible says that Adam’s sin plunged the world into darkness; since God is doing a redemptive work (work of restoring to original condition) it stands to reason this must be how it was before Adam sinned. After he sinned, the world became as it is now. People in this fallen world are not filled with God’s light, we do not shine with the Shekinah Glory of God pouring out of our physical flesh. We lost all that when Adam sinned, and it will be restored when God gives us our redeemed, new bodies.
Suddenly, while still in the countdown, Jesus appeared in the air, sitting on a white throne. From all over the world, I saw pinpoints of light converging where Jesus was. I tried to jump into the air but I couldn’t. I wondered at that, and God said on the inside of me,
"Son, have you not read that the DEAD in Christ will rise FIRST, and be FOLLOWED by those that are alive at His Coming. You must wait for the dead to come to Me first, and the delay will NOT prevent you when it is your turn. Wait your turn" (I Thessalonians 4:16-17).
So, I lay back on the grass, and waited. At "Three minutes and twenty seconds..." the vision ended.
Many of the details in this vision are symbolic, but the manner in which I saw the dead rise, the voice proclaiming the count down, and the experience of putting on immortality are literal (I Corinthians 15:52-54). The Rapture will really happen that way.
It is time to preach in the churches and out of the churches that we must live right. We must put away sin and live Holy lives, for the end is truly near. I believe this by the events now taking place in the Middle East. These events were recorded in the Bible by the Apostles and the prophets, by Jesus himself, and John, who prophesied that all these things would surely come to pass.
Church, believers, I urge you to repent of secret sins and live right. This is the final hour. We will have no more chances, this is the LAST call for real revival! The ONLY and FINAL one! You can't afford to miss this one; it is the last one! God is not asking you to be perfect, only that you cry out that He wash you in His Son's precious blood DAILY!
Only then can you be free of sin, as only His blood washes away our sins. We have ALL sinned (even believers!), and only His blood can make us equal to His Righteousness, so cry out for God to wash you in His blood. It is the ONLY way to be ready! It is so easy and simple. Just DO IT! Be ready when He returns!
May this prophecy bless all those that read it, and to God be the Glory through His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen!
