There's an awful lot of beauty in this world; God is, after all, the master artist.
What's something that you've seen that has stood out to you above all else? Where you were like, "this...this right here has got to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life."
It can be as small as a snowflake, or as grand as a waterfall. Or it can be a person, or maybe an animal.

For me, it was one winter when I was sixteen or seventeen; we got a whole bunch of rain one night, and it all froze. In the morning everything was covered in a layer of ice; the trees and bushes and grass, the street lamps and telephone poles and telephone wires, buildings and homes, sidewalks, roads, signs and billboards, fences, cars...EVERYTHING. And there was frozen snow under the layer of ice, so everything was white and silver and shiny. I remember leaving my house in the morning to go to school, and being totally mesmerized and blown away by this breathtaking masterpiece God had made; it looked like the world was made of glass.

Howsabout you :)

I would have to say my wife. I also mean the whole package, the way she has loved and stood by me for the last 18 years through thick and thin, even when she could and even maybe should have left a few times. (super glad she didn't come here for advice those times) The mother and selfless caretaker that she is to her whole family, and has been since the first time we heard our firstborn cry. Also and above all that is her love for our God (our as in all of us in existence). She has always had a curiosity about God, even in our "crazy" days, and was able to accept Him and be regenerated in a quit room by herself because of her ability to really think and submit herself to His ways. (When He pulled her in of course) On top of all that she just so happens to be drop dead gorgeous as well. She is one of the most beautiful things inside and out I've ever been blessed to see or know and I thank God every day for her. (on the left)

While my wife and I were dating, she had to get her wisdom teeth removed. She was REALLY loopy and in another world when I came to pick her up. On the way home, she looked over at me with her mouth FULL of cotton and smiled with the goofiest, most beautiful smile I had ever seen and said "I love you". That's probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and it was at that single point in life that I knew we would never be apart.

My grandchildren are the most beautiful creation ever!
I dont have to do anything but spoil them rotten and teach them about Jesus. Then, when they get cranky or bratty, back to mom and dads house they go :D

Can you say "like" or rather "REALLy like!" ? I taught, with animation, my 3 year old grandson the story of Jonah...He caught the power of animation and relayed the information to his MOm. "Three whole days!!! in a whale!!!! ' He's getting the Jonah playset for Christmas! An evangelist at 3? We'll see. Love that child and the other three so very much!

Awestruck, overwhelmed and mesmerized by the first view of the Northern LIghts here in Nordland MN. Little frightened too! I didn't know there was such a thing when I was 17. hoofing it to a friend's house after my friend's car broke down on our way home. Wow! Imagine what that's like in Alaska!!!!

All these posts are so wonderful and I can certainly relate with my children and grandsons being born. I praise God for them!!

I'd have to say the most indescribably beautiful thing I've ever known is when the presence of the Lord literally covers me like feathers in my weakest & darkest moments and His Spirit overcomes everything and all I am aware of is God.

Katie Featherston - inside and outside.

Certain songs, too (can't think of them all off hand right now).

Are you hinting that my post wasn't written in humility, p_rehbein?

If so, you'd have to know the history of my upbringing to understand the condition I was in due to traumatic abuse. I could not wrap my broken mind around faith or trust and existed in a living hell that was so excruciating, I often could not even talk or breathe properly. I lived in sheer terror that words cannot describe.

The Lord had mercy on me and revealed Himself the times when my mind was too feeble to believe.

So sorry if you got the wrong impression. I was just saying that the most beautiful thing to me is God proves His love is bigger than all our fears. I was hoping it might encourage others who battle that kind of mental anguish.
