That can't be what you meant, so it must be a typo. But now I'm curious what you meant to say.

How is soot not ink? You can make ink out of anything that has the color you want in your ink.
The anlysis only shows soot, no ink. soot and rust could also be used in paint.

The main point is Lev text only speaks of cutting and marking on the outside of skin for the dead.

What you said first was Leviticus came 200 years before Leviticus, which would only make sense if a time machine was involved. =^.^=
